Hay cosas que van en cada uno de nosotros y es algo que es parte de nuestra humanidad en cierta manera, razón por la cual algunas veces se nos hace algo inevitable buscar alternativas a algunas cosas que quizás nos puedan parecer demasiado para tal o cual ocasión, pues al final no somos personas insensibles o que no pensemos o no tengamos en cuenta el sufrimiento ajeno.
Y es que, aunque existan algunas “plagas” que deban ser exterminadas por nuestra salud, como lo serían ratones, ratas, cucarachas, y algunos insectos o animales más, uno como persona a veces le cuesta ver que estos sufran demasiado o que la situación sea algo fuerte por así decirlo, y es que, aunque quizás a algunos no les importa el “como” sino el “resultado”, hay personas que se preocupa por ello.
Al buscar de alguna manera, un “medio” no tan violento para lograr de igual manera el mismo “resultado”, pues por ejemplo alguna vez un amigo me comentaba que, él tenía un problema de ratones en su casa, y que este quería acabar con todos ellos, pues eran demasiados y al mismo tiempo el peligro que puede representar para la salud dichos animales.
Razón por la cual, este buscó solución en algunas trampas para ratones y algunas otras soluciones como pegas o similares, pero decía que seguían siendo soluciones muy violentas y que de alguna manera se veía muy cruel este hecho, por lo que de alguna manera “sufren los ratoncitos” y el solo quería darle un solo “toque” por así decirlo.
Y se ingenió maneras en las cuales este colocaba una pequeña porción de comida en algún clavito, y posteriormente en el mismo espacio dejaba alimentada la plataforma sobre la cual estos se debían parar para agarrar el alimento y de esta manera al cerrar el circuito simplemente les daba un “toque” y listo, de esa manera seguramente ni se enteraban de ello y él no tenía que escuchar el sufrimiento de estos en el otro tipo de situaciones.
Quizás si se planteó como una trampa algo más fuerte, pero a él lo tenía loco el tema de escuchar los quejidos de los ratones en las trampas cuando de alguna u otra manera no quedaban del todo “listos”, y eso era algo que para él era realmente difícil de procesar, pues de alguna manera solamente no quería ver sufrir a los “animalitos”.

Although there are some "pests" that must be exterminated for our health, such as mice, rats, cockroaches, and some other insects or animals, as a person it is sometimes difficult to see that they suffer too much or that the situation is something strong so to speak, and, although perhaps some people do not care about the "how" but the "result", there are people who care about it.
For example, once a friend told me that he had a problem with mice in his house, and that he wanted to get rid of all of them, because there were too many of them and at the same time the danger that these animals can represent for the health.
Reason for which, he looked for a solution in some mouse traps and some other solutions like glues or similar, but he said that they were still very violent solutions and that somehow this fact looked very cruel, so somehow "suffer the little mice" and he just wanted to give them a single "touch" so to speak.
And he devised ways in which he placed a small portion of food on a small nail, and then in the same space he left the platform fed on which they had to stand to grab the food and in this way to close the circuit he simply gave them a "touch" and that was it, that way surely they did not even know about it and he did not have to listen to their suffering in other situations.
Maybe he thought of it as a somewhat stronger trap, but he was crazy about hearing the whining of the mice in the traps when in some way or another they were not quite "ready", and that was something that was really difficult for him to process, because somehow he just didn't want to see the "little animals" suffer.
