I know you will enjoy meeting your new cousins. Traveling to another city is awesome, and to meet new family is even better. You are right about the technology of the video travel centers. They are surely a convenience to travelers in countries where they exist in Europe. I haven't seen one of these in the U.S. yet. We do have travel exchange hubs, but I haven't heard of any connectivity booths such as the center.
It would be nice to have all the information about the different routes available. But, there are apps and online you can search.
