I understand nerdy Jeremy's vulnerability because I don't like hospitals till tomorrow! 😄 His feelings for Jennifer is sweet. I hope if he must wear glasses, Jennifer will be kind to him now that they are friends. Hopefully the tests show the real trouble and he gets the right treatment.

Yes, I beileve you are correct in self-perception starts at an early age, especially in this era where social media makes youngsters aware of appearances and social norms. Youngsters can be self-absorbed. They see and project from only what matters in their own space and the small world round them. They don't yet understand the big picture. I too hope the tests don't reveal any serious medical condition.
