This story is written in response to feltbuzz's 50 word story prompt, book

When she dropped the book I saw my opening. Six weeks I had waited to speak, but did not dare.
“You dropped this,” I stammered, in a faltering approach.
She turned and fixed those fiery blue eyes on me.
“Finally,” she teased. “We meet”.
And so we did.

This sounds like the story of something beautiful starting to blossom. Well worth the wait.
