For today's blog, I will talk about the place, and the experience, and try very hard to share the most important details--from costs, itinerary, accommodation, and any other stuff so finish reading it for your next destination.

When my friend asked me that we go for a quick vacation. I was a bit hesitant because of my schedule but I answered him that I make a way to join and I would file a leave so that I could join them.

Luckily my leave was granted by our Human resources officer, so we could join the quick getaway since I had been to Hermits Cove many times and the place was so enchanted to me because of how beautiful it is.

The Hermits Cove is one of the most natural beaches in the province of Cebu and is located in Brgy. Kantabogon, Aloguinsan. We heard folklore stories from locals that there have been mysteries around the place and it was the local fishermen whose ancestors have been living in this remote area for generations who named the place “Hermit’s Cove”. Locals used a footpath to reach the cove before it was developed to a wooden staircase which becomes easier for tourists when visiting the place.

clean white sand beach, crystal clear sea water and a view of Negros Island is what we witnessed upon arrival at the cove after winding up and down a very hazardous rough road. We also had to go down wooden stairs in going to the beach and going up the same stairs in coming out of the beach.

Aloguinsan is definitely a paradise that needs to be discovered. The picturesque scenery going to the cove is breathtaking and with its white sand beaches just perfect to be called a paradise.

As we reached Hermit's Cove we registered first for the Local Government unit, we listed our names on the guest list and were then given a short orientation about the do’s and don’ts conducted by the members of the local cooperative supported by the LGU Tourism office who are running the place. To summarize, the message is to maintain the cleanliness and the natural beauty of the place. Drinking alcohol is also strictly prohibited to avoid erratic behaviour of guests who are under the influence of alcohol.

Before you can enter Hermit's Cove you should pay first for entrance for kids 7 and above and adults the entrance fee is 100 and 7 years old and below is for free, and the cottage is free of charge.

While we taking the stairs down to the beach you will amazed at how the local does the stairs by not destroying the formation of rocks and how it turns out beautiful.

Also while I was waiting for others I took a snip on the beach and I was really mesmerised by the beauty of the place and how the locals took care of the place. It is really white sand and the sea is clear as a crystal, the rock formation and the tree.

Since it was a budget-friendly trip, We just bought Hotdogs and a milkfish for our food also we bought some soda from a store inside Hermit's Cove the only store inside the beach but the price was the same in the city.

After we settled our things and cooked our food, we changed our clothes to get ready to swim but some locals tried to convince us to ride a boat to see the Bojo River unfortunately, our budget couldn't afford the price so maybe next time, on my another trip I will take you to Bojo river.

While we were eating the food that we prepared my wife bought a soda from the nearest sari-sari store suddenly this little doggy approached us but we were amazed at what he did because he stood in front of us and showed us his cute face asking for us to give him some food, but when one of our friends give him food so we don't have chance to take a photo of him because he immediately left but a few minutes later he comes back then he does it again but we decided to prolong of what he doing so that we can capture it luckily we did. How cute this little doggy his owner really did a great job training his dog.

Then we continued to swim, we also played with the waves like a child then jumped into them, we also dived in to see different fish but some locals called our attention with their megaphones if you reached the orange rope which was good because they secured the safety of their guest also there are some person with authorities roaming the soar. So it was Guaranteed one of the safest beaches in Cebu.
