Good evening dear Hivers and welcome back to my blog!
Today I’d like to share with you a truly special place: the Cat Park! It is a public garden where I was lucky enough to walk during my holiday in Malta.
The real name, actually, is Independence Park and is located in the seaside town of Sliema. The local people, however, called it Cat Park, because a colony of cats has settled here and are loved and cuddled by the entire neighborhood.
In fact, in the park there are kennels and cushions where the stray cats can sleep and you can find bowls with kibble and fresh water which are always available.
The Cat Park is located near the seafront and it’s very pleasant to take a walk, stopping on the coloured benches to observe the splendid landscape.
Furthermore, the town of Sliema is very lively: there are shops of all types and restaurants, both ethnic and local cuisine. My boyfriend and I ate at a Japanese restaurant that we really liked.

Oggi voglio condividere con voi un posto davvero speciale: il Parco dei Gatti! Si tratta di un giardino pubblico dove ho avuto la fortuna di passeggiare durante la mia vacanza a Malta.
Il nome vero, in realtà, è Independence Park (Parco dell’Indipendenza) e si trova nella località marittima di Sliema. Le persone locali, però, lo chiamato Parco dei Gatti, perché qui si è insidiata una colonia di gatti che sono amati e coccolati da tutto il quartiere.
Infatti, nel parco sono state disposte delle cucce e dei cuscini dove i gatti randagi possono dormire e sono sempre a disposizione ciotole con crocchette e acqua fresca.
Il Parco dei Gatti si trova a due passi dal lungomare ed è molto piacevole fare una passeggiata fermandosi nelle panchine colorate a osservare lo splendido paesaggio.
Inoltre, la cittadina di Sliema è molto vivace: ci sono negozietti di tutte le tipologie e ristoranti sia etnici che di cucina locale. Io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo mangiato presso un ristorante giapponese che ci è piaciuto molto.
