Today I want to share with you all the "House on the Cliff"! LITERALLY. Keep reading to find out.

House on the Cliff

Want some Privacy or just a place to go Fishing or want to listen to the Ocean? Well, take notes and maybe build yourself a "House on the Cliff" (:

Here you can see it's only held up by a few wooden sticks and you can even see a ladder going up the Cliff

We were sailing along the beautiful coast of West Nusa Tenggara. It wasn't a windy day, so the motors were propelling us forward. I was on watch at the time and decided to look at the coastline when I spotted this house on the cliff. At first, I thought it was probably just a piece of tarp or something, but the binoculars proved me wrong. As soon as I saw the house, I unpacked my drone and flew straight to it.

I mean out of all the Spots, they picked the Cliff 😅

Unfortunately, if you want to visit this house, you only have two options: by boat or finding a way through the bushes. West Nusa Tenggara is one of the most remote areas in Indonesia, but I wonder how rough it gets under that house. I always questioned myself after that. Out of the whole coastline, why pick the cliff? Flat terrain is all around, as evident from the picture above.

Not many people in this area due to the violent weather

West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, has a beautiful coastline. I just wish there were more bays where you could stay to explore this fine coast. This was the south side of West Nusa Tenggara, so even fishermen will avoid this area in winds more than 20 knots. I actually got news from a local later on that the house is "The Best fishing spot in the area".
