The Big Bus Tour Hong Kong Experience as a First Timer with Friends

Hi, Pinmapple community! This time let me bring you to Hong Kong adventure with my friends.

I loved hunting cheap airfares from Cebu Pacific or Air Asia back in Cebu. I also loved announcing my next trip out of the country on Facebook. I found cheap flights to Hong Kong via Cebu Pacific and I asked my FB friends if some were interested in going to Hong Kong with me.

Two male college friends responded to join plus one female colleague.

My female friend also joined.

We were 5 as a group.

The Big Bus Sightseeing Services in Hong Kong

Ethel knew one person who was working at the Big Bus Tour in Hong Kong so upon arrival on our first day, we went to their office at Hong Kong, HK Hong Kong Island ATM2 7Upper Deck Central Pier.

The Tourists at Big Bus Hong Kong

As a first-timer in Hong Kong, we took advantage of the Big Bus tours. It was our first time taking the double-decker bus as we don't have this in the Philippines. I was prepared for my OOTD or Outfit of the Day. Haha, I got this mini-dress and black leather from my aunt.

We took the upper deck of the bus as it was fun to see Hong Kong without the roof of the bus.

The Star Ferry Ride

DSC_0232.JPG

The ferry ride costs 2 Hong Kong Dollars. One of the cheapest transportation in Hong Kong. We had fun taking this and it was convenient.

Not so much people when we took this in the morning.

The Peak Tram

One of the itineraries is to ride the Peak Tram to reach the Victoria Peak.

Going to Victoria Peak is uphill so you better find a good seat inside the tram. Several visitors were going up.

Madame Tussauds

We found Madame Tussauds along the building. This is optional and you have to pay separately to see all the wax figures of celebrities.

It's cool to know they put one Asian celebrity outside as a sneak peek. You can even take photos of this one when there are not so many visitors getting in.

The Victoria Peak

Victoria Peak is a hill on the western half of Hong Kong Island. It is also known as Mount Austin, and locally as The Peak only generally. With an elevation of 552 metres (1,811 ft), it is the tallest hill on Hong Kong Island, and the 29th tallest in the territory of Hong Kong. It is a major tourist attraction offering views of Central, Victoria Harbour, Lamma Island and the surrounding islands.

Indeed a tourist attraction and we enjoyed the view of different islands in Hong Kong.

A very expensive place and wealthy people live here.

The Sampan Ride

Taking the Sampan ride in Aberdeen is another way to see the way of life in the floating village.

DSC_0416.JPG

I think it was a nice experience to enjoy this local boat ride in the area.

The boat was spacious.

Joan looked serious while watching the view.

Ethel had the best backdrop view of the floating restaurant. When we were here, we could smell the food we were hungry.

Verdict of the Big Bus Tour

As you can see in the photo, we really had fun. Also, if you want to bring your oldies, let them experience the Big Bus tour. It's all worth it.
