Hi hive friends! Another day, Another travel Blog! Just a quick share how can I say that I am blessed to meet other people from other places.

Before that day, my friends and I planning to go to Mt. Pinatubo in Capas, Tarlac. Unfortunately, our trip changed. We didn’t expect that we needed to increase our pocket money. At that time, we only had 2k per head budget for that trip but the entrance fee and all the expenses for Mt. Pinatubo trip range around P3,500 per head. So, we decided not to push through to Mt. Pinatubo. The tricycle driver told us that instead of wasting our time and going back home, there are a lot of tourist spot recommendations in Capas, Tarlac.

First stop, we went to Capas National Shrine Park. I was amazed because according to the tricycle driver who became our personal tourist guide real quick! =D that as built by the Philippine government as a memorial to Allied soldiers who died at Camp O'Donnell at the end of the Bataan Death March during the Second World War.

Other history: A 50-hectare land located in Western Capas, known as the former Capas Prisoners War Concentration Camp, Capas National Shrine is marked by a gigantic obelisk surpassing popular monuments and matching other skyscrapers common to Filipinos and tourists. Thus, this mighty pillar stands with pride to commemorate the heroism of the Filipino veterans during the World War II.

After we went to the National Shrine, next is to Patling which they say that there is Natural Bueno Hot spring there and they say that “SANTO BANGKAY” is there.

Before I forgot we also have personal tour guide there, These Native Aeta kids. They are friendly and a lot of them do not go to school just because of poverty. It was sad to know that there are kids like this that are not capable of schooling. My friends and I decided to give them some foods and promise that we will come back and see them again.

The said “Santo Bangkay” is you need to climb 100 steps stair before you reach the small church which the “Santo Bangkay” is located. They say that this is miraculous. When you are praying and wishing your desire there is the possibility that will come true.

After that, we walk for about 5 kilometers before we reach the Bueno Hot Spring where there is natural hot water coming from the well and it is believed that that well can also cure illness when you take a bath and flow the water in your body.

Before we went back home, we needed to pass through the raging river, and it was a fun experience because that is the first time that I am passing through the river like that.
