Greetings everyone,

Today we’re gonna explore the Igis Beach resort in Catarman, Liloan Cebu. To reach this place we took a minibus for an hour and paid a 50 pesos bus fare from Cebu I.T park route to Yati Liloan, North, Cebu and an additional ride to Catarman, Liloan by a tricycle but this time we are pitched by one of our colleague's private multicab.

Recently last month my colleague just visited my place in South Side Cebu to celebrate our first team building which is memorable for us since a few weeks later we are distributed to our different Team leaders which also means we will never have the same rest days.

Being with our team for a few months we have built a strong friendship that even our mentor openly shared that we are the only team that he gave extra time for this kind of stuff that he hasn’t spent for the previous teams he handled before.

Sadly as they said there’s no permanent in this world except for changes and unfortunately after almost a month of being distributed in the real world of BPO some had already decided to change paths it’s because of the nature of our job and some due to personal reasons.

Iligs affordable cottage. It has 1 comfort room but the cottage doesn't have own electric outlets so we have to save phone energy and have to talk more here😊

During the end week of June, we consolidated that since by the 4th of July, there will be no work because it’s a holiday in the US we thought of grabbing the opportunity to have our second outing therefore some of us who decided to separate way their resignations will be effective one of these days.

Luckily due to the efforts of some of our colleagues by the 4th of July, we were able to push through our plan. Each of us contributed 500 Php or $9 converted USD. This is for everything budget except for transportation. Those who have their rest days managed to prepare the place and of course the food.

After finishing our shift in the morning three of us headed together there. We are the last batch to head since we are the last shift in the office. We traveled over an hour to reach the place and even though we were so tired because we hadn’t slept yet, we couldn’t stop being excited because it was a way for us to unwind from the stress we experienced almost every day.

I admit that the place was not as good as we expected but what makes the day is that we are the only ones who occupied the place which makes it more enjoyable. The beach was not as beautiful as I thought there is so much trash scattered on the shoreline but I believe that it’s because it was raining heavily these past few days that makes the beach like this. In addition to that it was low tide at that time that we decided just not to go swimming but just enjoy the view and the two rainbows that shows that day. We even tried to pick up some shells with the locals but we are not so lucky to get as many as we want so just have pictures together everywhere.

As of this moment, the place looks like it's been a nicer place before but I think due to the strong typhoon that hits Cebu 2 years ago they didn't make the renovation yet but I noticed the next space is having heavy construction which looks like a huge swimming pool in progress.

After 6 pm we everyone decided to return home but we decided to drop by one of our teammates who just live nearby to return the things and have a dinner from the leftover foods before heading each one home. Truly I can say so far this was really my best team that I had ever since I started working. Hopefully even though we separate ways we will cherish our moment together as a team.

Without further ado I thank you whoever read this far. Take care and be safe always,😘
