Pitões das Júnias - Portugal [EN/PT-BR]

in Worldmappin3 months ago

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well 😉 Today Sunday was spectacular 😉 I went to visit Pitões das Júnias for the third time. The last two times I went looking for snow, but there wasn't much snow, this time there was a lot and it was enough to have a really fun day with the family 😉

Pitões das Junias turned out to be a charming place, and just 2 hours from the city of Porto, where I live 😉 I was influenced to come by a friend of mine, who said that she had come yesterday and that there was a lot of snow 😉

Snow-filled roads, stunning landscapes. Wonders that the north of Portugal has for us to experience

When I was arriving I was a little disappointed because I thought I wouldn't see snow, because one of the areas we were passing through had little snow. The snow had already melted

But then when we got there I stopped with a landscape covered in white where the silence was broken and I heard children and adults very happy playing in the snow

When we arrived at the small village where there were houses and only one restaurant and only one bakery, we also found little snow, but we went to visit and had lunch at the pitoes bakery, the meat bread was wonderful, until I forgot to take a photo. We didn't have lunch at the restaurant because it was no longer available, which is a shame because I've been there once and loved the food. But today I also had a very good lunch and with a fantastic view.

While walking through the small village I came across this dog, he was very funny, he kept looking at people, it seemed like he was asking for treats. I fell in love with this dog, if I could bring him home. There are many dogs and many cows here

I forgot to tell you, at the entrance to the village they have a small map, so we can know the tourist attractions and see what the small village is like with snow

The village is super cute and the people who live there are very friendly. It's a shame that they are quite old people, there are very few young people which means that in a few years this village will be uninhabited. I hope you are wrong!!! I highly recommend visiting this magical place 😉

I hope you liked it, see you soon friends 😊
