Bather way is a very impressive six kilometre coastal walk even on a not so perfect day. It runs from Nobbys Beach break wall at the mouth of the Hunter River in New South Wales all the way down to Merewether Ocean Baths.

We would have liked to test it out but it was a bit cold and we wanted to complete the 6km walk.

Bar Beach. We have been here before, we got to do a parkrun which is completely run on the sand here, it was one of our most favourite parkruns as we were here for parkrun tourist podcast meet up. After the parkrun and live podcast I was lucky enough to have been able to join a few other parkrunners doing an ocean swim. The weather on the day was great and the ocean swim was the best I had ever experienced big clean surf and you could see right to the bottom even right out the back of the swell.

We were still feeling good and thought we could do a little bit more. The track continues and is also part of the Great North walk all 250km of it. We would not have time to do all but we thought we could do a bit more to Glenrock National Park.
