SCENIC,SERENE WITH WATER SPORTS
Last week, we went for a trip to Daringibadi, and on our way, we saw the Tampara Lake, which is just 500 meters away from the National highway. As we planned to stay one night at Gopalpur, so we decided not to miss this hidden beauty and spend some time and capture some memories. It's around 150 km from my place, so we may not go this route usually, but if you are going that way, I strongly recommend to enjoy some niche water sports available at the Lake. We were not prepared for the water sports, so we just explored the place, but next time, we will plan for the water sports, in case, we go that route.

As soon as we started taking pictures in my Sony α6400M, the security ran to us and asked not to take pictures without paying for that. He called the boy sitting at the ticket counter on phone, and confirmed that, we did not take a ticket for the Camera ( I was not even aware and the person did not tell anything as well). I told them, I will pay, while going back, but then he insisted, we can't take photos without paying first. We can take photographs in mobile for free, but for digital cameras, you have to pay. I said, fine, we will take photos in Mobile only. And guess what is the price of taking photos in Digital Cameras ? ₹5000/- which they term as a photo shoot. That's definitely way above a common man can afford for taking few personal photos, which must not be classified as photo shoot. That's some weird mismanagement there for sure - they should have commonsense to differentiate between photo shoot vs family pics.

Price of water sports is affordable, but we did not want to get wet, and going in the big boat needs a bit of time, which we did not have.
Tampara Resort is located as you come out of the place, and we decided to finish the lunch there, even though the original plan was to eat at some roadside dhaba. This is a private resort, and one can book and stay there, they charge ₹6-7k. The price of food was a bit higher, but it was very tasty - Berhampur is famous for good spicy food and they had that touch of taste here. May be in future, we will plan one night stay here, and enjoy the water sports.
While the food was being prepared, we captured some more photos in the resort garden.
A romantic place to go back in time and remind young age.

Oh my word, I've never heard of such a thing, they make you pay to take pictures in public? That's just nuts! The lake is definitely beautiful! It reminds me of my home, but without the palm trees!
Not in public, inside the park, which they have developed recently. But for a personal camera, they should not charge this much.

The place is beautiful it's very clean and quiet it's not crowded. So it's a perfect place to bond with your family and friends. You surely had a great time there.
