Let's reminisce,
I'm trying to remember the time when I was on vacation with friends a few years ago. Precisely in December 2015. Yes, time has passed long enough, I almost forgot the incident. However, the portraits I took at the time, brought those memories back. Remembering it makes me happy.
Enjoying the beauty of Sebesi Island for four days is a valuable experience. We did a lot of things there. At first we used a motorized vehicle from our homes. Go to Merak Harbor, Banten. Continuing the journey by using the Ferry to Bakauheni Harbor, enjoying a long journey on the boat is an interesting experience.Too bad I didn't take a picture of the big ship.

Arriving at Bakauheni Harbor, we continued our journey by motorbike, enjoying the cool air of Kalianda sub-district, South Lampung. We also had time to stop for a moment to enjoy the beauty of the Lampung Siger Tower.
The Siger Tower is the iconic tower of Lampung. The tower is the pride of the people of Lampung.

After going through quite a long journey, we returned to continue our journey on a smaller boat to be able to cross to Sebesi Island. The island is located in the Sunda Strait or the southern region of Lampung Waters.
Sebesi Island at that time did not seem too crowded by tourists. Because we have friends who are natives of Sebesi Island, so our vacation goes more enjoyable and cost-effective. We stayed at his house. The condition of electricity at that time on Sebesi Island was still limited, had its own replacement system, electricity only turned on at night. Many homes use solar power to be able to use more electricity.
The people there are friendly and fun. We enjoy a lot of food that comes from the sea. The sellers there are quite limited, because the supply of food and other goods is not easy to get to the island because they have to pass through the ocean. It's natural that everything is available in limited quantities.
Sebesi Island presents many natural choices, not only the ocean. There are many plantations, hills to climb, activities on the coast, enjoying sunrise and sunset on the pier, canoeing, and of course swimming on the beach while looking at other islands. And, there are many more activities that we do together. Unfortunately I don't take many pictures.
Yes, I remember other things we did were touring the island by motorbike, enjoying grilled fish by the sea, climbing a chocolate tree and enjoying its sweet taste, playing sand and burying friends with sand, looking for rocks on the beach. Climbing the Hill, interacting with several families who built their house on the hill, quiet and serene, full of the sounds of nature.
It's true relaxation. Even though many years have passed, the memories are still fresh. Enjoying nature will never be bored. Hope to repeat it. Enjoy the endless beauty of nature.
