Dear friends of @motherhood, I'm stopping by to pay it forward. Today I want to share with you an experience I had when supporting my son in an athletics competition. Santiago is a person who really likes sports, he identifies with several sports disciplines, but of course there is one that he likes the most and that is baseball.
But before being in baseball he also tried soccer, basketball and athletics and in this he stood out a lot, but at that time the coach died and here in the municipality there was no athletics school, so we gave up on that idea.
Since last year, the school where Santiago studies has been participating in different sports Olympics, but they had never taken him into account for these activities.
But last week and as the 3rd academic period had already begun, the physical education teacher asked him if he wanted to participate and of course he said yes, because in addition to the fact that he likes it, participating in it gives them trait points, the which can be used in the grade discussion if you need to raise the score at the end of the period.
The truth is that Santiago arrived super excited with an authorization to be signed and pending the date of the Festival. One day before the date when I went to take the boys to school, I found the physical education teacher and asked if I could accompany him as support.
In total there were 50 students from all years of general secondary education who would participate in the 2nd General Secondary and Athletics Recreational Sports Festival. This activity was organized by the National Association of Private Educational Institutes, ANDIEP.
Santiago would be one of the first to compete in the 80 meter flat race, which he won and with a great advantage, then he participated in another relay competition and there he came in second place, Santiago is super fast in running and in baseball he also stands out in running.
I can tell you that it was a wonderful experience, the participants really enjoyed it, as well as having fun. I am really pleased to have been present and support my son, since it is very important for our children to be present in each special activity, that generates a lot of confidence and joy in them. Santiago found a friend with whom he studied throughout preschool and up to 3rd grade. They had not seen each other for quite some time since they currently do not study at the same school.

Santi es un buen niño, solo no quiero que tenga novias nunca, pero ajá, tengo que acostumbrarme, todos los días me lo digo, pero me niego otra vez 😢😢
Jajajaja jajajaja jajajaja supera eso de las novias Llani porque creo que si no vas a morir en el intento. Mira a Santi le encanta jugar de todo, el profesor de educación física dice que Santiago es buenísimo en el voleibol y le he dicho a ver si quiere practicar eso pero me dice que prefiere su béisbol, el sabe qué igual yo lo apoyaré en lo que el quiera. A mí también me encanta que el sea un deportista y siga así en lo que le guste y mucho más por su salud. Gracias por pasar y comentar Llani.
