Greetings, series lovers...
Let me tell you that I watched this new Netflix offering called "The Eighth Show," which is a mix between "Squid Game" and "The Platform." I watched this series in two afternoons since it's only 8 episodes packed with many unexpected twists that will leave you open-mouthed.
It's no secret that the Netflix platform has recently dropped in quality with its movies and series, but with this new series, it is making huge strides towards becoming the streaming platform it was in its early days.
Regarding the series, without giving too many spoilers, it is about 8 participants, each living on a different floor, and as time goes by, they earn money; in this case, being an Asian series, they use the Korean currency WON.
The participants have financial problems in the real world and enter this contest thinking they will solve their economic issues, but the reality will be different.
Something I noticed in the series is that humans chase money a lot when, in reality, time is the most important thing. Ambition, betrayal, and suffering are things you will encounter in this series, as well as people with a lot of money who no longer know how to spend it.
Next, I will talk about two aspects that I would like to elaborate on: the first is the curious things I noticed in the series, and the other is my favorite floor:
THE CURIOUS THINGS
- In its 8 intros, the series always shows a different participant.
- If you look closely, you will see a chessboard at the top of the stage.
- It has a defined color palette where pink is predominant.
- The cameras have no audio.
- It is inspired by a book.
- They reference several famous product brands.
- In each episode, there is always a vertically framed scene.
MY FAVORITE FLOOR
I loved the tough and athletic personality of this actress Lee Joo-young, who is called FLOOR 2 here. She has very interesting action scenes in the plot. From my perspective, she is the most righteous person in the series and the one who suffers the most. Another aspect is that her outfit and that short jacket give her a very urban style.
Something I loved is that this series breaks the FOURTH WALL at the end. I won't tell you what happens, but when you watch the entire series and get to the end, you will be surprised (this happens after the credits).
Well, I invite you to watch the series; it can be a bit heavy, and you won't understand the first few minutes, but I assure you that as the episodes go by, you will want to keep watching.

Les cuento que me pude ver esta nueva apuesta de Netflix llamado el octavo show, este es una mezcla entre el juego del calamar y el hoyo.
Esta serie me la vi en 2 tardes ya que son solo 8 capítulos cargados de muchos giros inesperados que te van a dejar la boca abierta.
Para nadie es un secreto que la plataforma Netflix ha bajado el nivel con la calidad de sus películas y series últimamente, pero con esta Nueva serie esta dando pasos gigantes a la plataforma de streaming que fue en sus inicios.
En cuanto a la serie sin hacer muchos spoiler, se trata de 8 participantes que cada uno vive en un piso y mientras pasan los minutos van ganando dinero; en este caso al ser una serie asiática usan la moneda del WON (KOREA ).
Los participantes tienen problemas de dinero en el mundo real y se meten a este concurso pensando en que allí podrán resolver sus problemas económicos, pero la realidad va a ser otra.
Algo que note en la serie es que los seres humanos perseguimos mucho el dinero cuando, en realidad el tiempo es lo más importante. La ambición, la traición, el sufrimiento son cosas que te vas a encontrar en esta serie. Como también las personas con mucho dinero ya no saben en que gastarlo.
A continuación te hablare de 2 aspectos que me gustaría extender, la primera lo curioso que note de la serie y el otro mi piso favorito:
LO CURIOSO
Esta serie en sus 8 intro siempre muestra a una participante diferente.
Si se fijan verán un ajedrez en la parte de arriba del escenario.
Tiene una paleta de colores definida donde el rosado es predominante.
Las cámaras no tienen audio.
Esta inspirada en un libro.
Hacen referencia a varias marcas famosas de productos.
En cada capitulo siempre hay una escena en plano vertical.
MI PISO FAVORITO
Me encanto la personalidad ruda y atlética de esta actriz Lee Joo-young que aquí se llama PISO 2. Tiene escenas de acción muy interesantes en la trama.
Desde mi percepción es la persona mas correcta en la serie y la que mas sufre.
Otra aspecto es que el vestuario y esa chaqueta corta le da un estilo muy urbano.
Algo que me encanto es que esta serie salta la CUARTA PARED al final, no les digo que pasara pero cuando te veas toda la serie y llegues al final te vas a sorprender( bueno esto pasa después de los créditos ).
Bueno los invito a ver al serie, puede ser un poco pesada y los primeros minutos no vas a entender, pero te aseguro que como pasen los capítulos vas a querer seguir viendo.

Muy interesante parcero, la verdad tiene cosas de la otra pelicula ese en la que están todos como en un laberinto de 300 pisos o algo así, y la comida va bajando desde pb hasta el sótano donde ya no llega nada.
