Hello everyone. I hope you are fine. I have been planning to share Bitcoin and Ethereum charts for a long time. But I didn't have time for that. Today, I decided to combine the two plans and make an analysis of the ETH/BTC parity :) As I emphasized in the graphic analyzes I published before; The bull season has begun for cryptocurrencies. However, the bull season was mostly experienced in the Bitcoin price. Artificial intelligence, meme coin etc. We have not seen an altcoin rise except for a few areas. We will touch upon this issue in this post. Will there be an altcoin rally? When will it start? We will seek answers to these and similar questions. I took the screenshots below from the Tradingview website. I chose to use the data of Binance Exchange because its transaction volume is higher than other cryptocurrency exchanges. The first chart is from the weekly time frame. Let's take a look at the overall chart.
There has been some volatility in the price of Bitcoin since the approval of Bitcoin ETFs. However, we experienced the biggest price fluctuations in other cryptocurrencies. When the price of Bitcoin fell by 1%, other cryptocurrencies lost at least 5% of their value. The main reason for these price movements is that there is no story in cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin. If you do not have a story to hold on to for the price increase in an investment instrument, if it experiences a small loss in value, you will run stop loss orders in panic. If we ignore the meme coin rally, we do not yet have a story in cryptocurrencies outside the field of artificial intelligence. Once we have a story, we will see the first breakthrough in ETH/BTC parity. There has been a divergence in the Ethereum price compared to the Bitcoin price for about two days. The screenshot below was taken from the daily time frame chart.
The supply-demand zone below runs through the 0.0479-0.0489 price range. The supply-demand region where the price is currently located is at the price level of 0.051-0.055. This is a pretty wide supply-demand region. The above supply-demand zone is passing through the 0.059-0.06 price level. For a possible altcoin rally, the Ethereum price is expected to cross this supply-demand zone. I hope the downward trend does not continue. Let's move on to the next chart.
I took the screenshot above from the monthly time frame. There was a tremendous altcoin rally between January 2016 and February 2018. Since this date, Ethereum has lost approximately 80% of its value against Bitcoin. Again, other cryptocurrencies lost up to 90% of their value until January 2020. There was an upward trend in 2020-2021. However, cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin and Ethereum have still not recovered. If Ethereum continues to lose value against Bitcoin, we will follow the 0.026-0.019 price supply-demand zone. I hope this scenario does not happen :) If Ethereum continues its divergence against Bitcoin and heads towards the previous peak of 0.075-0.85 price level, we can expect an altcoin rally. We can watch a bull season for cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin and Ethereum in the ETH/BTC: 0.1-0.15 price region.

Bir altcoin rallisi olacak mı? Ne zaman başlayacak? Bu ve benzer sorulara cevap arayacağız. Aşağıdaki ekran görüntülerini Tradingview web sitesinden aldım. İşlem hacmi diğer kripto para borsalarına nazaran daha yüksek olduğu için Binance Borsası'nın verilerini kullanmayı tercih ettim. İlk grafik haftalık zaman diliminden. Bitcoin ETF'lerinin onaylanmasından bu yana Bitcoin fiyatında bir miktar volatilite yaşandı. Ancak asıl büyük fiyat dalgalanmalarını diğer kripto paralarda yaşadık. Bir yatırım aracında fiyat yükselişi için tutunacağınız hikaye yoksa küçük bir değer kaybı yaşarsa panikle stop loss emirlerini çalıştırırsınız. Meme coin rallisini görmezden gelirsek yapay zeka alanı dışında kripto paralarda henüz bir hikayemiz yok. Bir hikayemiz olduğunda ilk atılımı ETH/BTC paritesinde göreceğiz. Yaklaşık iki gündür Ethereum fiyatında Bitcoin fiyatına nazaran bir ayrışma söz konusu. Aşağıdaki ekran görüntüsü günlük zaman dilimindeki grafikten alındı.
Aşağıdaki arz-talep bölgesi 0.0479-0.0489 fiyat aralığından geçiyor. Şu anda fiyatın bulunduğu arz-talep bölgesi ise 0.051-0.055 fiyat seviyesinde bulunuyor. Bu oldukça geniş bir arz-talep bölgesi. Yukarıdaki arz-talep bölgesi ise 0.059-0.06 fiyat seviyesinden geçiyor. Olası bir altcoin rallisi için Ethereum fiyatının bu arz-talep bölgesini geçmesi beklenir. Yine diğer kripto paralar Ocak 2020 tarihine kadar %90'ı bulan değer kaybı yaşadılar. 2020-2021 yıllarında bir yükseliş trendi yaşandı. Ancak Bitcoin ve Ethereum haricindeki kripto paralar hala kendisini toparlayamadı. Ethereum Bitcoin karşısındaki değer kaybını yaşamaya devam ederse 0.026-0.019 fiyat arz-talep bölgesini takip edeceğiz. Umarım bu senaryo yaşanmaz :) Eğer Ethereum Bitcoin karşısındaki ayrışmayı devam ettirir ve bir önceki zirve olan 0.075-0.85 fiyat seviyesine doğru yönelirse bir altcoin rallisi bekleyebiliriz. Looking forward to that altcoin bull season! Hive's narrative is mixed. Perhaps, its unique selling proposition needs to go out there so that growing number of crypto enthusiasts will be attracted to it.

You're right, we need some upward momentum for an altcoin bull season to start. Unfortunately, right now most cryptocurrencies are not attracting institutional investor interest. And to attract retail investors, it seems like we need to see "rocket" and "lamborghini" emojis flying around again. We'll probably have to wait a while longer for that kind of environment.
Hive is a bit different. The 20% HBD savings is not sustainable and there is also a big marketing gap.
Waiting is good. We have more time to position ourselves. As for the HBD 20% party, just enjoy the fun while it lasts. It is just unfortunate that I don't have the cash to take advantage of it.
Things looking very bleak for ETH and I am curious what the narrative for Alts will be. Will we even get a rally in alts? It's not guaranteed at this stage.
Now the situation looks quite negative. But hazy weather is good for whales. If we look at the positive aspects; In the US, growth slowed in the last quarter. There is an election soon. I think the FED chairman will speak 'dovish' at the May 1 meeting. Most likely, there will be a rate cut this year. There is also growing pressure for ETH ETFs. Let's watch :)
That's true, it looks quite negative overall at the moment, but it could change around at any time.
