We all know that new user interface of LeoFinance has been rolled out for Open Alpha and it will be tested for bugs and improvement.
Currently, we can only use limited features of new UI by visiting https://alpha.leofinance.io/ with a strong disclaimer mentioned in this post. This release offer you to use #threads and publish new content, you also enjoy notifications as well.
Since, it is in open alpha phase, so there can be many bugs and may require improvements as we report them to developers. So, I have observed some issues while using new interface that I would like to mention here for team LeoFinance.
Bug # 1
The voting panel should show "Vote Value" based on the percentage using the slider bar, beside that it would great to see "Remaining Voting Power" as well, which can be placed adjacent to percentage counter.
Bug # 2
Clicking 3 dots does not show any menu rather it opens up the #thread individually as shown in the image below.
And in above image, those 3 dots do not show up, technically they should show up having some menu items likely a Downvote button or more.
Bug # 3
While hovering mouse over Editing tools, there are no tooltips appearing to let us know about the function of the tool like we have in old LeoFinance post editor.
Having a Back Arrow adjacent to Title is confusing and can accidentally be clicked causing the user to lose the unsaved draft.
Improvement # 1
It will good to see a new and improved LeoFinance Logo on the tab. Right now, it gives a feeling of emptiness.
Improvement # 2
It would be nice to know the time and date of notification occurrences, so I suggest to add a Timestamp next to any notification received.
I also recommend that there should be a filter to sort out notification, we have this feature in Ecency, where users can select from a range of options to sort and see particular notification occurrences such as replies, transfers, or mentions.
Improvement # 3
Adding a Search box would eliminate need for scrolling through 100s of tags. I think it will be a useful tool to search for a specific topic.

Bug # 1
Le panneau de vote devrait afficher « Valeur du vote » en fonction du pourcentage à l’aide de la barre de défilement, à côté de cela, il serait également bon de voir « Pouvoir de vote restant », qui peut être placé à côté du compteur de pourcentage.
Bug # 2
Cliquer sur 3 points ne montre aucun menu, mais ouvre le #thread individuellement, comme le montre l’image ci-dessous.
Et dans l’image ci-dessus, ces 3 points n’apparaissent pas, techniquement, ils devraient apparaître avec certains éléments de menu probablement un bouton Downvote ou plus.
Bug # 3
- En passant la souris sur les outils d’édition, aucune info-bulle ne semble nous informer de la fonction de l’outil comme nous l’avons fait dans l’ancien éditeur de publication LeoFinance.
- Avoir une flèche de retour à côté du titre est déroutant et peut être accidentellement cliqué, ce qui fait perdre à l’utilisateur le brouillon non enregistré.
Improvement # 1
Il sera bon de voir un nouveau logo LeoFinance amélioré sur l’onglet. En ce moment, cela donne un sentiment de vide.
Improvement # 2
Il serait bon de connaître l’heure et la date des occurrences de notification, je suggère donc d’ajouter un Horodatage à côté de toute notification reçue.
Je recommande également qu’il y ait un filtre pour trier les notifications, nous avons cette fonctionnalité dans Ecency, où les utilisateurs peuvent choisir parmi une gamme d’options pour trier et voir des occurrences de notification particulières telles que les réponses, les transferts ou les mentions.
Improvement # 3
L’ajout d’une zone de recherche éliminerait le besoin de faire défiler 100 balises. Je pense que ce sera un outil utile pour rechercher un sujet spécifique.
