Getting to survive daily should have been one of the easiest things in our world had all infrastructure been used in the right manner, but the reverse is the case. There are plenty of individuals struggling daily before they can get what to eat.
It's very commonly said that the rate of poverty keeps increasing daily. In my research, I have observed that many African countries are topping the chart when it comes to being poor and the level of hardship they face.

It's very disheartening that most of this government isn't doing anything about it, despite the volume of cries and shouts from their citizens.
If there is one thing that humans need so much, it is their ability to be able to afford all the social needs that have to do with day-to-day survival, but today the reverse is the case, especially in countries where their currency keeps getting devalue often.
This is not the right time to joke with a Nigerian; that was what one of my friends said some days ago. It might sound like a joke, but in all honesty, there are plenty of things going on that have indeed caused a lot of panic among its citizens. This is the only place where social needs keep increasing in value daily.
Almost everyone is now used to the common slang that says, Buy today; today's price will be different from tomorrow's price.
It's deplorable that the government isn't doing much at all, especially turning a deaf ear to its citizens' plead and cry, which indeed shows the level of unconcerned the government is.
The government might have failed to do its part in terms of bringing up initiatives to ease the cost of living. Besides that, controlling the level of inflation in the market sector is one responsibility they need to shoulder, but it's not like that; instead, plenty of individuals are finding it hard to secure jobs, and even those with ideas are finding it hard to raise funds to implement such ideas, which the government is aware of.
What's the best way to survive? (Citizens responsibilities)
Getting to meet with the level of demands that come with the cost of living recently is vital; doing so much ourselves without relying on the government too might be of a lot of help.
(1) Have multiple sources of income: This is something I sincerely see as one factor that could help one meet the level of demands that come with the cost of living. Being creative and having multiple means of making money is definitely a way forward. So many individuals operate small-scale businesses by selling goods, and at the same time they're into real estate and freelancing.
In a society or system where the government keeps on failing, building multiple streams of income is one big factor to scale through the level of high demand that comes with the cost of living.
(2) Learn to start small: Most individuals are still struggling to execute their big ideas, just because they want such ideas or business initiatives to grow big in one night.
Irrespective of how small your capital might be, using it to start something when it's still appreciated is vital, especially in a system where there is a daily hike in the price of things.
(3) Reduce your expenditure: living above your income right now is one of the biggest dangers you could be doing to yourself, especially for individuals who only have one source of income. To be able to cope in a time like this, it's significant that you cut your expenses; doing that will definitely help you manage yourself.
The government too has countless of things to do, especially helping its citizens reduce the high demands that come with the cost of living. Plenty of things have been attributed to this, and the government needs to introduce an everlasting solutions that will put an end to the following:
(1) Devaluation of Currency
(2) Worsening insecurity in farming communities
(3) Increase in the cost of production
(4) The government’s economic policies
(5) The national debt

Introducing sustainable solutions to all the above crises facing people's cost of living will undoubtedly help reduce the level of demands that come with them.

The recent increase that comes with the cost of living needs urgent attention. It's now becoming harder for an average man to survive and meet his day-to-day needs, more needs to be done to give people hope that life requirements can still be met regardless of their financial class.
