That's why I wrote off the whole blockchain community BS. It's not a community, just a target pool and support group for scammers. There is a core clique of devs and degens who profit from hyping their 'protocols' making it sound like they have the 'community's' best interests in mind, then they all bail with everyone's assets and refuse to reply to anyone but their clique. But they're still here, reputations and engagement still intact, still profiting from the network, even more now with a bigger bag. "Use your bag to vote for my project, and I will vote for yours" "Use your bag to vote against this project because I don't make anything from it."
Clique, from the start, hasn't changed. It could, but people have to break the cycle and stop supporting these people because of their "status' and engagement.
And yeah, they have built some things, and increased usage, but only so they can bring in more suckers and have a means of drawing them in.
