(In fact, I am posting it here as a bookmark so that I can find it in the future when I am (once again!) doubting my conviction in crypto as the markets crash (again) 😂)
For everyone who feels like they might have missed out on BTC at $30k and wonder what's the point in acquiring fractions of a Bitcoin, here's your tonic!
The tweet explains how 0.1 BTC could become generational wealth if you take into account the forthcoming BTC halvings.
The idea is that in about 20 years, the reward for mining a Bitcoin block will probably decrease to around 0.1 BTC. Despite this smaller reward, miners will still compete for it as fiercely as they do now for the current reward of 6.25 BTC, if not more so.
So it is like a time capsule.
You can stack 0.1 BTC today and by 2044 it might be equivalent to holding 6.25 BTC.
Your goal should be to acquire one block's rewards as soon as possible.
Read it.
Digest it.
Act on it.
