I don't remember if I have ever performed a Power Up on the 15th since Leo Power Up Day began. I have already increased my stake in different ways, but never once was it with any strategy or programming. I simply saw the liquid token and decided to do the PowerUp.
However, today I decided to do it, and even if it was a small amount, just 50 LEO, I did it because it not only increased my voting power within the LEO community or showed that I have more power in my account.
What motivates me at this moment is the sense of belonging.
Being part of a community is a matter of time, we have to create a habit of being there at all times. We have to create bonds with the members of that community and start to feel part of it too, as it is not enough to just be from a place if we don't belong to the place.
We can make an analogy to the country we were born in. I love Brazil, but among the visions I have for the future, if I could choose, I would like to have been born in the United Kingdom, Canada or even the United States (probably preference in that order). But I don't see myself leaving Brazil before I'm 50 years old, to at least enjoy the end of my life in a safer country. Brazil's annual homicide rate surpasses countries at war, and that's not safe when you're young, much less when you're old.
And why all this talk about country, community on a day that should only talk about PowerUp and the LEO community. I believe PowerUp is about making a statement. Show where you are standing your feet. And if in the real world we cannot move for various reasons, whether geographic, economic or any other reason. In the virtual world we can. And we can do a lot.
We can stay where our money goes and where our preferences go. And this reflects a lot in the world outside the internet, as people understand what it means to let go of your most scarce asset in a community, which is time. This is one of the few, if not the only asset that cannot be recovered, which is why it becomes the most valuable.
And the good thing about virtual is that we can put several feet in several communities, it's up to us. And in this way I continue to have my feet in the HiveBR community that I will never abandon (only Brazilians understand this) and one of my many feet in InLeo. Today with over 50 LeoPower and in the future with many more. We won't need a number, let's maintain consistency.

Não me recordo se alguma vez desde que começou o Leo Power Up Day eu tenha realizado algum Power Up exatamente no dia 15. Já aumentei o meu stake de diversas formas, mas nenhuma vez foi com alguma estratégia ou alguma programação. Simplesmente eu via o token líquido e decidia realizar o PowerUp.
Porém hoje eu decidi fazer, e mesmo que em uma quantia pequena, apenas 50 LEO, eu realizei pelo fato não apenas de aumentar o meu poder de voto dentro da comunidade LEO ou mostrar que tenho mais poder na minha conta.
O que me motiva nesse momento é o senso de pertencimento.
Ser parte de uma comunidade é questão de tempo, temos que criar hábito de estar por lá a todo momento., temos que criar vínculos com os membros daquela comunidade e começar a nos sentirmos também parte dela, pois não basta apenas sermos de um local se não nos pertencermos ao local.
Podemos fazer uma analogia ao país que nascemos. Eu amo o Brasil, mas dentre as visões que eu tenho de futuro, se eu pudesse escolher, gostaria de ter nascido no Reino Unido, Canadá ou até mesmo Estados Unidos (provável preferencia nessa ordem). Mas eu não me vejo saindo do Brasil antes dos 50 anos de idade, para ao menos aproveitar o fim da minha vida em um país mais seguro. A taxa de homicídio anual do Brasil supera países em guerra, e isso não é seguro quando se é jovem, muito menos quando se envelhece.
E porque esse papo todo de país, comunidade em um dia que apenas deveria se falar sobre PowerUp e a comunidade LEO. Acredito que o PowerUp significa marcar uma posição. Mostrar onde você está ficando seus pés. E se no mundo real não podemos nos deslocar por questões diversas, sejam geográficas, econômicas ou qualquer outro motivo que seja. No mundo virtual podemos. E podemos muito.
Podemos ficar onde nosso dinheiro vai e onde nossas preferências vão. E isso reflete muito no mundo fora da internet, pois as pessoas entendem o que significa você desprender o seu bem mais escasso em uma comunidade que é o tempo. Esse é um dos poucos, senão o único bem que não tem como recuperar, por isso se torna o mais valioso.
E o bom do virtual é que podemos colocar vários pés em várias comunidades, só depende de nós. E dessa maneira continuo com os pés na comunidade HiveBR que nunca vou abandonar (só brasileiro entende isso) e um dos meus vários pés na InLeo. Hoje com mais 50 LeoPower e no futuro com muito mais. Não vamos precisar um número, vamos manter a constância.
