Lately I have been a little lazy with playing @risingstargame partially due to having more things at my hands to do. At the same time, I have decided to take it a little slow with the game. I want to give a demonstration on what the experience would be for a casual player of the game. How things worked out with the Christmas Mission could prove to be a good case study. We are already close to 4 weeks since the end of the Mission. I am comparing prices after the dust has settled down!
Missions Started With S68 The Big Guy
I opened 12 Booster Packs and came across not one; but two S68 The Big Guy Cards which is above what is usual. IIRC there should be one of the Special Cards in every 10 Booster Packs. I sold one of them immediately on the market. I do not remember the exact pricing at the time. There is an easy way to go back and check the details for Card Packs. I have not seen one to check market activities. The price was far higher than what is shown right now.
My initial investment was 100,000 STARBITS I had eared by playing the game. I have all the other Stat improvements from the 35 Cards that came in the packs (I sold one of them). I did not put much effort into playing the game efficiently. I have made an effort to get the best out of Seasonal Missions. The last Christmas was a different one. Results of Completed Missions
Each Mission takes 30 minutes to complete and there is a 10% chance to win a Special Card that mainly help with the Luck Stat which becomes important for Music Lessons. Collecting 10 of these allows to Blend them together for animated versions of the Cards. I usually avoid this due to the lack of liquidity for there rarer Cards. There is no change in Stats (beyond the 10X) after combining. Thus there is no difference for the utility inside the game.

These are the results of casual gameplay. I could have gained few more of these Cards if I tried harder. I don't thing that would have done anything great for my daily life. I don't expect most players to dedicate their time to a (mostly) idle game like @risingstargame
Market Prices for Cards
As you can see, I have been lucky by getting more Cards from the one with lesser supply and price. I have made back the value of 100,000 STARBITS several times over. I have gained 396,000 STARBITS worth NFTs from Seasonal Mission alone and I have 35 more Cards in my Collection + STARBITS from a S68 The Big Guy sale.__
It should be extremely clear that I have made back more than 4X of what I invested into the Christmas Mission. It should be noted that I have had better than average luck with the Cards. Most players may experience lesser gains for similar effort and few should have even better luck than I did.
