Good day Hivers! We have agreed to embark on our journey for a nature trip after our 2-hour Hive Orientation. Our senses were filled with excitement, as we were about to mingle ourselves with the captivating scent of nature after a long time of not traveling. At this moment, we have traveled to Daat, Sogod, Cebu to witness the fascinating scene of the place.
My child's eagerness was sparkled with excitement as we travelled to our destination. Upon entering the small alley, we followed teenagers riding bicycles. I was perplexed why they intentionally traveled here, maybe a fascinating view is waiting in the end.
The winding road led us through the mountains with towering trees and lush foliage. Mountains surrounded our ways. We weren't able to stop to have a great picture of the admirable nature's wonder, where mountains stretched into the distance creating a perfect view. Besides, we were in a hurry so we can catch the sun sets.
We weren't able to feel the extreme heat of the sun due to the vast trees around. The uphill road made me frightened, I'm not familiar with this place and this made it a little bit adventurous.
After a 20-minute drive, we finally reached our destination. The teenagers were already there, enjoying nature's beauty. It has an overlooking view that is surely captivating to the folks who are looking for great relaxation and want to unwind.
My child was exhilarated upon seeing this huge tree, standing alone firmly at the center. Without any hesitation, she moved closer and and climb on it so she can experience how beautiful is it if we are on top. She had witnessed the marvelous beauty of Daat. In here, there is tranquility where we can release all the negativity that weighs down our feelings.
The vastness of the field on top has a magical appearance that's why nature lovers keep on visiting here. On the left side facing the ocean, we have seen lovers dating, and together they witnessed the incredible view. Being here is so infectious as this will give a wonderful memory that will be cherished forever.
The place is very accessible as it is located along the road. What I like the most here is the chance to relax well while watching the wide sky and also the overlooking view of the vast sea. As I consoled myself with the beautiful scenery, I was thinking that there is happiness when you find peace in the midst of nature.
We enjoyed our chit-chat here with my friends. It's been so long since we weren't able to bond with each other. I was having fun as we shared different experiences in life especially our work. Sometimes we needed to find solace to a place where we can immersed ourselves with nature.
We religiously waited for the sun to set behind the mountains same as the bikers too. As it begins to descend, I was chasing it so I can take a photo of it. It is so mesmerizing as it blazes its orange color.
Before we left this majestic place, we should not miss this moment, the photo taking opportunity.
As we went home, we passed through the other way. We headed straight to Damolog, Sogod, Cebu so Miss Smile can bought the stuff needed to her house. And as we stopped here, we were allured by the colorful bougainvilla arranged well along the highway. They serve as a good background to the place and these are for sale. This tropical plant is mostly planted here in the Philippines as they do not need too much attention.
This weekend journey was amazing as I was able to find inner peace which I highly needed after I had my miscarriage. This quick adventure was fulfilling and satisfying. We went home full of happiness.
