Life continues to be busy. I seem to find less and less time to be online, especially when I have so many things still up in the air. Hopefully when everything settles, I'll be more active on here. Today is my day of rest ( well also, a day of catching up on the many chores I need to do, but mainly I chill). So I find myself with some free time and with that, the desire to check out what questions there are are Weekend Engagement challenge. A few jumped out at me. But in the end, I chose the following, to answer.
What's more valuable in your opinion, honesty or being true to yourself? Remember to use your own photos.
As it normally the way with my responses, I usually think I know what I am going to type until I start writing and it takes a different direction. That's the wonderful benefit, of writing freehand, you just go with the flow of your thoughts. Today, straight away, I chose being true to myself. Because, firstly if we are not honest with ourselves, then how can we been honest with others. Plus, in order to be true to yourself you first have to be honest with yourself. So both are rally tied into on another. But of course, you can be honest with others and yet not be true to yourself and vice versa really. It takes all sorts of folks, to make up the tapestry of our world.
Dishonesty, seems to be a rich breathing ground at the moment. If you look at the state of the human world, you can see, how we live in a world, where those who sit in power, have built their empires by being dishonest. Mostly because they are driven by greed, but in order to succeed they have to make you think that they actually care about you. Then comes all the propaganda and funfair. Lying through their teeth, while they continue to fund wars and genocide. Hmmm.
Imagine a more honest world, I don't think many people are ready for that. Yet it's there for all to see if you look hard enough. You know if you just scratch beneath the surface.
But then, you could be true to yourself and yet also be dishonest. I certainly have been dishonest at times. Mostly with holding information, because really it's no ones business how I live my life. But in order for me to do so, I have to be dishonest. Do i feel bad about it. No, because I'm not dishonest to those who care. Those who matter. I have no problem with being dishonest with those who try to control me, no problem at all.
But being true to myself, that is really important to me. That is what drives me, it's what fuels me. My life would be hugely different if I didn't stay true to me. At the end of the day, we only have this life, this moment right now, it's what matters the most. So how are you living yours?

It's not a bad thing tbh. I think so many of us spend too much time on line hard lining content, to be fair though, you do loads of cool and interesting stuff with the girls and your friends, but I'm sure you know what I mean.
Well said, life is fleeting and passes by quickly. You've got to remember to enjoy it as much possible, but it's not always easy, sometimes there are obstacles.
