"Sir I have something for you," Lekan said.
"Oh, you came to see me? And what is that you have for me?" Kent asked.
"Here," Lekan stretched a box to him.
"What's this Lekan?" Kent asked and he opened the box.
"What? How did you get all these fruits? And how did you know I like fruity?" He asked.

One boy raised his hand to talk.
"Okay, stand up and introduce yourself before talking to us."
"My name is Ahmed Sani. Sir, I am just wondering why further mathematics has funny names as topics. The last topic was polynomials and now is binomial. No wonder the contents are as difficult as running a marathon."
The whole class burst into laughter.

A Talk With Eros

I slid down on the billboard, and sat beside him. “Well, I appreciate you Eros. you’re much more than just a cherub. Soon, we’ll put the world back in balance and you can go back to the heavens and drink mineral water and observe concerts from afar,” I pushed him with my shoulder.
He broke his upwards gaze to look at me. “How do you know I care for human music?”
I laughed. “Eros, people may know of you but I know you. You love the human invention of music. As soon as you get back to wherever you spend the rest of the year you’ll be laid back thirsty for new songs to chill to.”

"Honey, you have to take it easy; you asked him to study law, and that's exactly what he is doing; can't he involve himself in an extracurricular activity at school?" Rebecca, Timmy's mother, said this to her husband, who was boiling with rage on the sofa where he was sitting.
"Thanks, Mom and Dad. The certificate is for you, Dad, not me. All I want is to become a football player. I will graduate as a barrister and give you the certificate, then pursue my dream," Timmy said as he stormed to his room. At this time, Timmy was in his fourth year of school, studying law.

The Winning Goal

In the 90th minute, the referee added an extra time of about 2 minutes. Just as it was about the 91st minute, the opposing team had a goal kick. Like a bewitched servant turned against his master, the goalkeeper mistakenly passed the ball to Tony. It was the worst mistake of his life.
Tony dribbled past him and strolled into the net with the ball! The referee had no choice but to declare the score a winning goal! And afterwards came the final whistle. It was an embarrassing moment for the losers; and a feast of emotional jubilation for Tony's team, Fred, Alexa, and other supporters.

Another Kind Of Winner

After watching her for a few seconds, I realized that she was suffering so much to pedal that she didn't have the strength to watch where she was going to. Her spirit was simply one of never giving up, so much so that, ironically, she ran into the leader of the competition.
Rud saw my aunt only when she was about 10 meters away from him. The guy tried desperately to dodge her. It was an abrupt maneuver that at first we all thought had gone well. However, in trying not to crash, Rud lost control of his bike and went flying off one of the edges of the track.
