Hello dear friends, I hope you are feeling very well, this time I want to share with you a painting I made of the scoring idol Cristiano Ronaldo, who is one of the athletes I admire the most, someone who fought beyond the limits to reach the sporting level. and the success that we now possess, without a doubt, an impressive work ethic and from whom we can learn a lot. I made this drawing on paper money, the paper I always use to draw is very scarce, thank goodness I have lots of bills, memories of hyperinflation in Venezuela, I will show step by step how I did it.
Hola queridos amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien, esta vez quiero compartir con ustedes una pintura que hice del ídolo goleador Cristiano Ronaldo, quien es uno de los deportistas que más admiro, alguien quién luchó más allá de los límites para alcanzar el nivel deportivo y el éxito que ahora poseen sin duda una ética de trabajo impresionante y de quién se puede aprender mucho. Hice este dibujo en papel moneda, el papel que siempre uso para dibujar esta muy escaso, menos mal que tengo billetes por montones, recuerdos de la hiperinflación en Venezuela, mostraré paso a paso como lo hice.

I made this drawing first with a pencil, but first of all I painted with white some areas of the banknote where it was printed with very dark paint and the pencil line could not be perceived very well. So I painted with white, let it dry and then I started to draw, only a part of the body since the entire bill was not enough for the entire body, and I joined two bills to complete the canvas.
Hice este dibujo primero con un lápiz, pero antes que todo pinté con color blanco algunas zonas del billetes donde estaba impreso con pintura muy oscura y no se podía percibir muy bien el trazo del lápiz. Así que pinte con blanco, deje secar y ahí comencé a dibujar, solamente una parte del cuerpo ya que no alcanzaba todo el billete para el cuerpo completo, y eso que uní dos billetes para completar el lienzo.

Since in that image he appears with the Real Madrid shirt, I took the opportunity to paint everything apart in white, so I could forget about that detail for a while to concentrate on the face. As it is a miniature painting it is very difficult to make the details of the face, especially when they are expressing some emotion, in this case CR7 is celebrating a goal so his face is full of euphoria and has many points of illumination. So I start with a layer of paint mixing white, brown and a little orange, this as a base on which to work on the following aspects.
Como en esa imagen sale con la camisa del Real Madrid aproveché para pintar toda es aparte de color blanco, así me pude olvidar de ese detalle por un buen rato para concentrarme en el rostro. Como es una pintura en miniatura es muy difícil hacer los detalles del rostro, especialmente cuando están expresando alguna emoción, en este caso CR7 está celebrando un gol por lo que sus rostro esta lleno de euforia y tiene muchos puntos de iluminación. Así que comienzo con una capa de pintura de la mezcla de los colores blanco, marrón y un poco de naranja, esto como una base para la cual trabajar los siguientes aspectos.

Next I go with a few layers of paint that are a little darker but within the same tone, I also begin to outline the entire part of the eyes, this was honestly a very difficult job, I had to see very well that the expression lines of the face looked very good , on some occasions the face tended to deform but I stopped the process and started again. The same thing happened to me with my mouth, that entire lip area was an odyssey, but I like these challenges because my power of concentration increases more and I don't even feel like I haven't finished a detail.
Seguidamente voy con unas capas pinturas un poco más oscuras pero dentro del mismo tono, comienzo también a delinear toda la parte de los ojos, esto sinceramente fue un trabajo muy dificil, tenía que ver muy bien que las líneas de expresión del rostro quedaran muy bien, en algunas oportunidades el rostro tendía a deformarse pero yo detenía el proceso y comenzaba de nuevo. Lo mismo me pasó con la boca, toda esa zona de los labios fue una odisea, pero me gustan estos retos porque mi poder de concentración aumenta más y hasta no sentirme conforme no termino un detalle.

Then I started to paint the hair, here thank God there was not much problem, it was very simple, for that you have to use a very fine brush in this way the details such as the shine of the hair will be easier to do.
Despues comencé a pintar el cabello, aquí gracias a Dios no hubo mucho problema, fue muy sencillo, para eso hay que usar un pincel muy fino de esta forma los detalles como por ejemplo el brillo del cabello serán más fáciles de hacer.

To finish, I made the details of the flannel, this helps give more realism to the painting, for example the folds of the flannel, and the shadows within them. I painted the ADIDAS badges and stripes in the same way.
Para finalizar hice los detalles de la franela, esto le ayuda a dar más realismo a la pintura, por ejemplo los pliegues de la franela, y las sombras dentro de ellas. De la misma forma pinté las insignias y las rayas de ADIDAS.
