Espero se encuentren muy bien el día de hoy, les comparto el proceso de este dibujo que termine hace poco el cual es un retrato del actor de la película "La sociedad de la nieve" Esteban Kukuriczka, quise hacer un retrato de el porque me encantó su actuación en la película y que a pesar de no tener muchos diálogos nos deslumbró con su mirada la cual podía llenar completamente los espacios de diálogo con sus expresiones y seriedad, quise también hacerlo con carboncillo para destacar más su mirada y detallar mejor las facciones de su rostro. Hello my creative friends at hive! I hope you are doing well today, I share with you the process of this drawing that I finished recently which is a portrait of the actor of the movie "Society of the snow" Esteban Kukuriczka, I wanted to make a portrait of him because I loved his performance in the movie and that despite not having many dialogues he dazzled us with his look which could completely fill the spaces of dialogue with his expressions and seriousness, I also wanted to do it with charcoal to highlight more his look and better detail the features of his face. Materiales/Materials

Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB y un borrador (corté mi borrador haciendo que las esquinas quedarán en punta así será más fácil borrar espacios pequeños), una barra de grafito suave.

What I used to make the drawing in traditional on a cardboard type sheet size 35 x 28 cm, a graphite pencil 2 HB and an eraser (I cut my eraser making the corners to be pointed so it will be easier to erase small spaces), a stick of soft graphite.

Comencé realizando el boceto del rostro el cual fue un completo desafío ya que tenían bastante tiempo sin dibujar rostros en 3/4 y a la vez me ayudó muchísimo a perfeccionar las proporciones y la ubicación de cada facción de su rostro. Con lapiz decidí marcar ciertas zonas de su rostro delicadamente para saber donde colocaría las sombras y los brillos, al comenzar quise usar primero un poco de polvo del carboncillo para crear un tono uniforme en su piel y luego con la barra de carboncillo comencé a colocar las partes más oscuras de su rostro, difuminando estás sombras con el dedo delicadamente.

I started with the sketch of the face which was a complete challenge since they had not drawn faces for a long time in 3/4 and at the same time it helped me a lot to perfect the proportions and the location of each faction of his face. With pencil I decided to mark certain areas of his face delicately to know where I would place the shadows and highlights, at first I wanted to use a little bit of charcoal powder to create an even tone on his skin and then with the charcoal stick I started to place the darker parts of his face, blurring these shadows with my finger delicately.

Comencé a intercalar materiales usando el grafito y el carboncillo al mismo tiempo, el primero para poder detallar zonas muy específicas como el lado de su nariz, los ojos y la forma de estos, etc y el último para comenzar a trabajar todo el sombreado de su rostro, con carboncillo pinte sus ojos y fui agregando más sombras a su oreja y comencé a pintar su cabello. Construí los pelitos de sus cejas con lápiz para no perder la forma a medida que iba difuminado con el dedo por esa zona, continúe oscureciendo su cabello y trabajando los mechones del mismo y a su vez fui pintando sus labios. Comencé a trabajar un poco más el rostro y sus facciones, con lápiz hice algunas líneas para darle una textura a su piel y poco a poco las iba difuminando con el dedo, continúe sombreando en las zonas donde no hay tanta luz y poco a poco fui construyendo más su rostro.

I started to alternate materials using graphite and charcoal at the same time, the first one to be able to detail very specific areas such as the side of his nose, the eyes and their shape, etc. and the last one to start working all the shading of his face, with charcoal I painted his eyes and added more shadows to his ear and started to paint his hair. I built the hairs of his eyebrows with pencil so as not to lose the shape as I was blurring with my finger in that area, I continued darkening his hair and working the locks of it and at the same time I was painting his lips. I started to work a little more on the face and his features, with pencil I made some lines to give texture to his skin and little by little I was blurring them with my finger, I continued shading in the areas where there is not so much light and little by little I was building more his face.

Termine de pintar en su totalidad el cabello y lo difumine con el dedo para que tomara el color negro completamente y para agregar los últimos detalles comencé a usar un color negro para delinear sus ojos, su nariz y sus labios, dibujar algunos cabellos sueltos en su frente y agregar un poco más de oscuridad en las zonas sin luz, fui construyendo su piel en la zona del labio superior para que se notara la diferencia de coloración ya que esa zona es un poco más grisácea por la barba que empieza a crecer e igualmente comencé a agregar más sombras en sus mejillas y nariz, haciendo puntos en sus mejillas y nariz fui construyendo sus pecas y con un borrador fui limpiando las zonas que tienen más luz.

I finished painting the whole hair and blurred it with my finger to make it take the black color completely and to add the last details I started to use a black color to outline his eyes, nose and lips, draw some loose hair on his forehead and add a little more darkness in the areas without light, I built up his skin in the area of the upper lip to show the difference in coloring since that area is a little more grayish because of the beard that is starting to grow and I also started to add more shadows on his cheeks and nose, making dots on his cheeks and nose I built up his freckles and with an eraser I cleaned up the areas that have more light.

Este es el resultado del dibujo, termine de agregar algunos detalles más precisos como sus pestañas y algunas sombras más, con el borrador borré un poco en su cabello para hacer algunos brillos de los mechones, limpie alrededor de todo el contorno del dibujo principal y con delicadeza fui limpiando algunas zonas de su rostro para crear más estructura y darle una forma más estilizada y masculina a su rostro, con el carboncillo agregué más pecas y ya para finalizar use un poco de corrector líquido blanco para los brillos en sus ojos, nariz y labios. Me encantó el resultado y todo el proceso fue increíble, disfrute mucho haciendo este dibujo ya que tenía bastante tiempo en el que no dibujaba algo de manera seria sino hacia muchos sketches como para no perder la costumbre pero volver a hacer un dibujo como este me animó mucho y sobretodo que pude ver que el resultado tiene bastante parecido con mi imagen de referencia del actor así que eso me hace el doble de feliz. ❤️✨

This is the result of the drawing, I finished adding some more precise details like his eyelashes and some more shadows, with the eraser I erased a little bit in his hair to make some highlights in the locks, I cleaned around all the contour of the main drawing and with delicacy I was cleaning some areas of his face to create more structure and give a more stylized and masculine shape to his face, with the charcoal I added more freckles and to finish I used some white liquid paper for the highlights in his eyes, nose and lips. I loved the result and the whole process was amazing, I really enjoyed doing this drawing since I had a long time in which I didn't draw something seriously but I did many sketches as not to lose the habit but to return to make a drawing like this encouraged me a lot and especially that I could see that the result has enough resemblance with my reference image of the actor so that makes me twice as happy. ❤️✨
