Asides mermaids, butterflies are another creature that I love but barely draw. Some people say butterflies are natures angles while other say they are flying flowers and I agree with both. I read somewhere that there are over 20,000 species of butterflies globally, and each exhibits unique patterns and color, isn't that awesome?
Butterflies are some of the most enchanting creatures in the natural world. With their vibrant colors and delicate wings, they captivate the hearts of both nature enthusiasts and casual observers.
The references I used for this drawing made me believe that butterflies indeed have lots of species because no two butterflies had the same pattern or colours, there was always something different. Nature is really wonderful. I totally enjoyed drawing the patterns on these, so different and unique but still beautiful.
