I want to present you the illustrative process of one of my last commissions, I put a lot of love to this art, more than anything because it was a gift from my client for one of her best friends, I thought it was a very nice gesture so I wanted to make it amazing, although I was always following the instructions given. I can describe a little of what this portrait is about, it's an elf who can see souls in sorrow, usually this makes the character sad, that's why her expression of lamentation. hehe! I leave you my process below

¡Hola mis queridos hivers! Bienvenidos.
Quiero presentarles el proceso ilustrativo de uno de mis últimos encargos, le puse mucho amor a este arte, más que nada porque fue un regalo de mi cliente para una de sus mejores amigas, me pareció un gesto muy lindo así que quise hacerlo increíble, aunque siempre siguiendo las instrucciones dadas. ¡Puedo describir un poco de que se trata este retrato, es una elfa que puede ver almas en pena, normalmente esto entristece al personaje, por eso su expresión de lamento. jeje! Les dejo mi proceso a continuación
I started to make the sketches, when the client does not have a pose or exact way to describe what he wants normally what I do is to make several sketches but not very detailed for him to choose, this way I avoid that the changes are so big at the time of elaborating the illustration. When I was painting I had several modifications, among these the hair tone because it had to be more reddish.
Empecé a hacer los bocetos, cuando el cliente no tiene una pose o forma exacta de describir lo que quiere normalmente lo que hago es hacer varios bocetos pero no muy detallados para que él elija, así evito que los cambios sean tan grandes a la hora de elaborar la ilustración. A la hora de pintar tuve varias modificaciones, entre estas el tono del cabello porque tenía que ser más rojizo.
Then I started to give details. Something complicated was the medallion, I had to make it in a separate format and then adapt it to the illustration, because it has many details, if you can notice are two dragons with a sword and other things, it took me some time and I was in love with the result :D.
Luego empecé a dar detalles. Algo complicado fue el medallón, tuve que hacerlo en un formato aparte y luego adaptarlo a la ilustración, ya que tiene muchos detalles, si se dan cuenta son dos dragones con una espada y otras cosas, me tomó algo de tiempo y quedé enamorada del resultado :D.
At the end I complemented the art with some light effects, and something that made a little funny to the client and me is that there was a misunderstanding with what was his third eye, so he asked me to remove it. I want to say that the name of Dark Elf was given by me hehe, because sometimes I need a name to be able to organize myself between some orders hehe :3 . This is the final result, I hope you like it.
Al final complementé el arte con algunos efectos de luz, y algo que nos hizo un poco de gracia al cliente y a mi es que hubo un mal entendido con lo que era su tercer ojo, así que me pidió que lo quitara. Quiero decir que el nombre de Elfa Oscura se lo puse yo jeje, porque a veces necesito un nombre para poder organizarme entre algunos encargos jeje :3 . Este es el resultado final, espero que les guste.

Este es uno delos mejores retratos que has hecho xD fue molesto pero despues gracioso la correcion del tercer ojo luego de estar como 1 hora haciendolo jaajaja

Uff, se ve increible, y los efectos de luz le dan el toque perfecto. Aunque quitar el ojo al final no se si fue acertado o no, me hace gracia recordar que aveces uno comienza con una idea y aveces puede terminar en algo totalmente diferente, o desechando algo que te termina molestando a la hora de dibujar xD
Jajaja si gracias :3, es que fue un mal entendido, creo que habia leido que el personaje tenia un tercer ojo pero al parecer era sólo un decir, era como un sexto sentido que tiene la elfa. Jajaja
