Hello friends of hive! today I want to show you a portrait I made of the Venezuelan rapper Tyrone Gonzales better known as canserbero.
For those who don't know, Canserbero is considered one of the best rappers in the world and although this great artist unfortunately passed away in 2015 due to a homicide, nowadays people still talk a lot about him and his rap which is full of reflective messages about life and the society we live in.
I wanted to make this drawing as a tribute to Canserbero because although when he was alive I did not know him, after listening to his music I could remove many prejudices I had about rap and I could understand that in many occasions in this genre there are songs with very interesting and positive messages for life.
Here I leave several images of the process and the final result of the drawing, which I did with a mixed technique of charcoal, chalk and Indian ink on mdf. I hope you like it and as the song says “he does not die who goes away, only the one who forgets dies”.
Hola amigos de hive!!! hoy les quiero mostrar un retrato que le hice al rapero venezolano Tyrone Gonzales mejor conocido como canserbero.
Para los que no lo sepan, Canserbero es considerado uno de los mejores raperos del mundo y aunque este gran artista lamentablemente falleció en 2015 debido a un homicidio, hoy en día se sigue hablando mucho de él y de su rap que está lleno de mensajes reflexivos sobre la vida y la sociedad en la que vivimos.
Quise hacer este dibujo como homenaje a Canserbero porque aunque cuando estaba vivo no lo conocía, después de escuchar su música pude quitarme muchos prejuicios que tenía sobre el rap y pude entender que en muchas ocasiones en este género hay canciones con mensajes muy interesantes y positivos para la vida.
Aquí os dejo varias imágenes del proceso y del resultado final del dibujo, que realicé con una técnica mixta de carboncillo, tiza y tinta china sobre mdf. Espero que os guste y como dice la canción «no muere el que se va, solo muere el que olvida».
