Gélen Morgendorffer - Fan Art (Daria - Serie) 🎨 (Spa/Eng)
SPANISH: Por fin llegamos a una gran parte de esta buena serie de mis dibujos de fan arts sobre los personajes de la serie Daria en la cual lo solían dar en el canal Mtv. De hecho pueden encontrar la serie fácilmente en online que creo que es el sitio oficial de la serie por si aun no lo han llegado a ver para los curiosos. Hoy presento a la mamá de Daria que es Gélen Morgendorffer - Abogada, madre de 2 hijas (Daria - Queen) y esposa de Jake Morgendorffer. Para dejarlo en claro, estos fan arts no son para que se parezcan completamente a los personajes de la serie, ya que son dibujos de manera simples lo cual nos da una libertad en como queremos que se nos vea los personajes en nuestros estilos, así que estos fan arts son mi representación de los personajes de la serie pero a mi estilo.
ENGLISH: Finally we get to a great part of this good series of my fan art drawings about the characters of the series Daria in which they used to show it on Mtv channel. In fact you can easily find the series online which I believe is the official site of the series in case you haven't seen it yet for those who are curious. Today I introduce Daria's mom who is Gélen Morgendorffer - Lawyer, mother of 2 daughters (Daria - Queen) and wife of Jake Morgendorffer. To make it clear, these fan arts are not to look completely like the characters of the series, as they are simple drawings which gives us a freedom in how we want to see the characters in our styles, so these fan arts are my representation of the characters of the series but in my style.
Gélen es un personaje que como también había mencionado a Jake, es alguien que te puede llegar a caer bien y mal al mismo tiempo, ya que como toda madre también tiene sus imperfecciones y actúa como tal como lo haría una madre en la vida real, y más aun que demuestra la realidad en lo que es ser una madre o un padre muy ocupado (a) con su trabajo. Hasta cierto punto no es malo, pero eso genera un gran descuido en la atención en la familia ocasionando que tus hijos lleguen a pensar que no hay necesidad que te necesiten emocional y sentimentalmente y buscarán a otras personas que si quieran dar esa atención. Si han llegado a ver la serie como yo, de seguro habrán visto eso, esa gran falta de comunicación entre los padres y los hijos que mayormente sucede en la vida real.
Gélen is a character that as I had also mentioned to Jake, is someone that you can get to like and dislike at the same time, because like any mother also has its imperfections and acts as a mother in real life, and even more that shows the reality of what it is to be a mother or a father very busy with his work. To some extent it is not bad, but that generates a great neglect in the attention in the family causing your children come to think that there is no need to need you emotionally and sentimentally and will look for other people who do want to give that attention. If you have come to see the series as I have, surely you have seen that, that great lack of communication between parents and children that mostly happens in real life.
Siempre hay un final feliz para todo esto, y es que en algunos capítulos tanto los padres como las hijas se empiezan a llevar bien poco a poco, hasta aquí es lo que diré para no spoilear nada sobre la serie. En el caso de mi dibujo sobre el personaje digo que me ha sido muy bueno interpretarla a mi estilo, incluso ya tenía imaginado desde un principio en como poder dibujarla, y menos mal que tiene el cabello así porque si hubiese sido largo como su hija Queen me daría mucha flojera. ¿Qué tal les están pareciendo mis fan arts sobre los personajes de la serie? There is always a happy ending to all this, and in some chapters both parents and daughters start to get along little by little, so far is what I will say not to spoil anything about the series. In the case of my drawing of the character I say that it has been very good to interpret her in my style, I even had already imagined from the beginning how to draw her, and thank goodness she has hair like that because if it had been long like her daughter Queen I would be very lazy.
