The flamingo (mixed media on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Tuesday to you all! Another warm sunny day here and so I placed my small working table close the open window to work on my paintings under the natural light and with the sound of the songs of the birds in my ears. My favorite way to work on my subjects! ^_^

Some day ago a friend of mine shared on line some pics he took of a couple of wonderful great flamingo and when I wrote him I loved those pics he replied to me "What do you think to work on a flamingo portrait in your illustrative style?" and so I did it:

As you can see, the subject is white and pink flamingo with a tiny house on the body and I also added some leaves in the same shades of colors.

In the past I painted (and sold! ^_^ ) different flamingo portraits in different sizes, but, to be honest, this latest one is my favorite! I really love the final result and I think I'll paint some other similar ones.
It's a mixed media (oil colors, acrylic colors, white ink) painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, as usual, I took some pics while I was painted this great bird so you can see the process too:
