Thinking about a snail (mixed media on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Friday to you all!
It's windy day here and the dark cloud are running on the sky, but I'm pretty sure it's just a puse before a rainy weekend.
Doesn't matter, I have a lot of colors all around, brushes, sheet of paper and canvas, so I could spent the next two day in my favorite way: working on my artworks! ^_^

Today I'm here to share with you my new piece.
This morning I woke up soon with a new idea in my mind: a sort of shelled human figure similar to a snail. The idea came to me thinking about all the snails (a lot of snails) I can see in my backyard during these days, maybe because the humidity after some rainy days.
In the following pics, you can see the final result:

As you can see, the subject is a human figure, a sort of bent over man, with a little house on her back that make he looks like a snail.
It's an mixed media painting (oil colors, acrylic colors and white ink) on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painted her so you can see the process too:

See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia

Greetings Dear Silvia,

Lovely artwork....very artistic..in that it is conceptual...with meaning that the viewer brings to the painting.

With regard to your artwork....I saw the figure, a male working in the Garden...wearing a Barbour Jacket..hehe...and yet even as he was doing either his favourite or not his favourite work Smiles...he still had the burden of life he was carrying....something like that.
...even reminding bleujay of the Book 'Pilgrim's Progress' by Bunyan.

Oh thank you for this beautiful art.

And thank you for the ReHive....it has helped the post alot.

Thanks so much for your words, dear Bleujay! I like what you see in this artwork, it's a nice image and it's not so far from the idea I had in my mind while I was painting it.^_^ ❤️

So beautiful and imaginative! That would work really well in a childrens book.

Thanks so much!!! ^_^

I love it just as I love every of your work
Nice one!
