You have a great eye. I just looked it up. He had a teaching position at Bauhaus.
Collage is a liberating form. (I find). Because I have no art skills, collage gives me the opportunity to use shapes and forms to realize what I imagine. There is a universe of free images we can mold to what what we imagine. Even if the piece doesn't work out the way we want, there is a learning process. For me, it is an exercise that uses a part of my brain I've never developed. There is no judge (even though it's a contest). We judge ourselves. Did we hit the mark? Did we get close to what we imagined? I love doing it. I hope you take the plunge :)
