Description from Strava:
I do not usually run on a Friday, but it is just how the week worked out. I did not want to do anything too vigorous as I want to do parkrun tomorrow and I may revisit a location I have not been to in a while.

This morning was somewhat grey, but dry and not cold. I did not really have a plan apart from taking it easy, but as I plodded along I decided to run to the south end of the village. That gives me a chance to see what has been going around there, if anything.

I do not have anything really to report on what I saw. I turned around at the 'new' cemetery (created in 1996). Beyond that there is no footpath. On the way back I diverted to take the footbridge over the railway. There are usually a few horses in the field there, but I could just see one with a foal. I have not run through there in a while, but it would be a bit muddy today so I took the road back over the railway. I took another diversion through one of the newer estates to make up more distance, but I was not going for speed. I ended with a loop of my block. That also added some more climbing.

I listen to a podcast by a famous drummer, but the latest episode was him talking to a COVID conspiracy theorist and I had to skip that one as I have no interest in that.

I am hoping for reasonable weather tomorrow afternoon for the Hive meetup in Bedford. All are welcome who want to discuss alternative social media and cryptocurrency.

Run free!

Enjoyable taking an early morning run, makes you feel vibrantly alive for the day. Beautiful green pasture too...

I find it a good way to start the day. It is pretty green around here. I can get away from the buildings and road when I want to.

Good old days something I did, not in a long time it was fun you were awake for the day!

Keep going, you're smashing your training at the moment and getting stronger every day.

I bet you don't have to worry about people or traffic as much in the cemetery, so that is good! It's raining here for the next couple of days, so I don't expect to get out much. I'll probably do some yardwork on Sunday.

I didn't go in there this time, but it was fairly quiet anyway. I just have to watch out for people going to work or school. It's raining here now, but I stayed dry. I'm hoping it improves for the weekend.
