Real Estate Tour in Asaba City.

Hiya everyone, I have been away for a while now due to some circumstances beyond my control and I am back to this space again to bore you with my recent activity.

Erm, I do not know how to start this but I am figuring it out already, so our company organized a three-day tour outside Lagos State. The objective of this tour was to launch the new office, and the newest estates and create awareness outside and within the community and its residents.

This real estate company (ABN) has been in existence for over a few years and I was so happy to know that we now have a branch in Asaba, Delta State. For any inquiries, inspections, or complaints including requests from clients, developers, and realtors, the management will facilitate those processes to ensure seamless transactions.

As part of the assistant of the coordinators for this tour, I was assigned to one of the bus stations in Gbagada for the trip. To ensure transparency we asked everyone in the group to write down their names and it was so surprising that the number of realtors coming from Gbagada was exceeding expectations.

Usually, it's just 10 -15 persons that would majorly show up for inspections and so forth but for the tour, we saw about 45 persons, isn't that unpredictable?
To ensure accuracy and transparency, an announcement was made that the first 30 persons to be in the pickup location, will be boarding, and that includes coordinators too. To cut a long story short, I was one of the first 10 attendees and I was also qualified!

Early hours of April 15th, I set out for the trip! As excited as I was I also had to be punctual or else my excited moment would be ravaged. Fast forward to the moment the bus took off, we had a short prayer session and everyone introduced themselves and shared experiences about real estate.
We got to Bellwood Hotel Asaba around 6:37 pm.

Everyone alighted from the buses, both staff and realtors included and there was a joyous excitement in the atmosphere as everyone jubilated not only because of the safe travels but because it was the beginning of creating massive awareness in the City of Asaba. I was so elated that you could feel it from my demonstration, facial expression, and gestures. It was truly one moment I cherished because we got people wondering what was happening here. And yup! That's awareness right there, hehe...

We had a brief get-together for a quick announcement regarding the next line of action to take. We were told to drop our luggage in the hall and get ready to create awareness all around Asaba and in the course of this marketing followed. It was already getting dark anyway so everyone hurriedly dropped their mini luggage and dashed out to collect flyers, in a few minutes we left the venue.

Our convoy made different stops, first in a big mall around the Orchid Hotel in Asaba, secondly to Asaba ShopRite, and thirdly, the exquisite bar "Fusion" and many other places that are necessary to know about our company presence and its office and the launch happening.
We got back to the Bellwood Hotel around 9 pm and by then we were so exhausted and everyone just wanted to rest. I hope and pray profusely that our batch of realtors will be staying at the present hotel (Bellwood Hotel in Asaba) because there was a moment of consideration within the management. At last, we had that privilege phew!

Day one of the three days tour exhausted and we had our dinner which of course comes with the tour package. Day one comprises the journey from Lagos to Asaba, an Interactive session with all realtors en route and lastly creating massive awareness in the bustling city of Asaba. What a day right?! So exciting at first and yet depleting at the end!

Day two of the three-day tour started with the preparation of the summit. The preparation started the night before that day. I witnessed the event decorators putting up the balloons and ribbons while we were in the queue for dinner.

The summit began around 10:00 am and announcements were put out in all groups notifying them to come down to the venue. Well, I had time to refresh myself and relax too because the event hall was just downstairs, so no cause for alarm.
During the gathering of all staff, realtors, and management for the summit, we had an interactive and educational session held by Coach. Spark Ovadje.

Truly, I was super inspired because his teachings left a remarkable impact on me and I am hoping to always take in more lessons from him from time to time. Funny enough, I am contemplating making him my mentor but he is already registered as one in my mental state of mind.
After the summit ended around 5:30 pm, my colleague and I decided to go for organic marketing (sharing flyers and using word of mouth to show prospects the value we offer), and around 8:30 pm we came back to our hotel rooms and went downstairs for dinner as usual. And that was all for day two!

Day three of the three days tour, we didn't have many activities that are in the aspect of the company and its management but the main thing for the day was the launching of our estates and its office. We (I and two other ladies staying in one room)all decided to take a morning stroll to supermarkets nearby and at the same time buy groceries needed personally because breakfast takes forever to be prepared.

The time to take off to the sites was noon and we had plenty of time to rest and get all prepped up. The other bus arrived at the Bellwood Hotel alongside the DJ with his musical instruments meanwhile hip-hop music was blaring in the atmosphere, and passersby and residents could feel its vibes.
Around 12:30 everyone had assembled downstairs boarding their respective buses and getting ready to leave. The convoy left in unison and the first stop was the office in Asaba on getting there.

The Ogene musical band gave us some traditional music and people were so elated and dancing while the director and his management were officially opening the office.
Meanwhile, the rest of the teams couldn't fit inside the office so we hung around, took pictures of the moment, and watched the other folks dancing to the traditional music.
Moments later, our convoy took off!
We got to the first estate (Landview City) which is the main estate in the Asaba-Benin Expressway, the director spent some time launching it by explaining the key benefits of the estate and the features attached to it.

This particular estate comes with a Certificate of Occupancy as the title and it's so ready for Buy and Build. Once a client/investor buys a plot of land in the estate, he/she can commence building immediately after the Ministry of Housing in Delta State approves the building plan.
I must also say that it's an investment that will yield a fast return of interest because of the proximity to the Asaba International Airport, Asaba Mall, Shoprite, Wintech Company, rapid development and infrastructural facilities, and so forth!

This estate is one that every investor in the diaspora and Nigeria needs to key into and invest in, it doesn't just have to be for residential purposes. It could be for commercial purposes and so much more, a smart investor uses great insights into the future to make plans now!
After thirty minutes of the grand opening of the second estate (Landview City Extension) which has the deed of assignment and registered survey as the title of the land. There was a brief gathering explaining the benefits and features of the land and then we moved to the first estate to continue with the launching of the estates and also creating awareness.

In each estate we went to all realtors took their time to market themselves and the properties, some even went above and beyond expectations to get a good explanation of the property and what the value looks like.
It was a great time listening to management's speech down to the investors who were presently there to witness the launch. One of the investors also promised a cash incentive worth ₦500,000 to any realtors who sold land in the new estate aside from their commission.
Being a realtor has come with knowledge, skills, strategies, and tactics to follow up with prospects and investors.

One needs to be up to date with necessary and relevant information relating to the real estate market and its services and it is also important to discern individuals who will disguise themselves as potential investors who will only squander your precious time. So if you want to be a realtor then drop a comment! We returned to our hotel right after the closure of the event and everyone had dinner and prepared for leaving on Saturday.
