Sending hubs to airport and breakfast at Luck Bros Kopi

in Daily Blog2 months ago

Another travelling week for my husband since the last he went to Macau. This time he would be flying to Philippines for some ministry and card business. Bless him in all his endeavour and as he commits all his plans to God.*

It was also our first time Jansen experiencing some sort of miracle, as he did not have any complications pain at his abdominal area, today marks his 42-day of eating happily without scar adhesion pain. Yay! So, we decided to send the man of the house to airport together!

Safe trip to Philippines!

We all cooperated and slept at 9pm till 3am, 6-hour sleep should be sufficient for us the endure the next day. 4am we set our journey to airport.

Husband used some time to check in, print boarding pass and self-drop his luggage.

Luck Bros Coffee

It was 5:30am after settled all the above and so we decided to go for super early breakfast at Luck Bros at level 2 airport. There were so many choices here at the airport, thus we just followed the luck. Lol...

Ambience & Menu

The cosy clean and less-crowded environment attracted us in besides the 'luck'😁.

The waiter was very friendly too, greeting us as well as explaining to us that there was a special 'Iftar' breakfast set with unlimited refilling of teh-tarik and dates, also would be given a side dish curry puff. It was a special promo for Muslim friends who are currently in their fasting month, they will have their iftar meal first before starting the fast of the day. The price was not cheap though.

Nasi Lemak Panggong Ayam Goreng

Wow, the 'nasi lemak' was so delicious. Not sure what type of rice used but it was combination of white rice and other rice, maybe black or red. Fragrantly steamed with coconut milk. The 'sambal' was awesome too. The fried chicken was bombastic, seasoned so well and fried perfectly. The sides vegetables pickle was a good combination to the rice. Not forgetting one more fried egg! Yums! I shared this with my husband.

Pan Mee Set

This one was flat noodles made from egg flour, my eldest son super loved this. With soy sauce minced chicken mushroom sauce, fried anchovies and a poached egg. Delicious! The soup was amazingly plain nice too, but I guessed it was mainly pepper, spring onion and ajinomoto powder. Still, better than nothing.

The Refillable Dates 'kurma' and milk tea

For the sets above, we got our refillable dates for energy as well as one hot milk tea and iced milk tea. Each of us refilled our tea once and we did not refill our 'kurma'. However, at the end, the lady asked us whether we wanted to try the coffee as part of the refillable? Of course, then we got to try their iced coffee. Wow, so thick and fragrant coffee aroma. Guess it was the best selling one that the lady even recommended to us. And we drank for free!

Curry Puff

The curry puffs were delicious too although just typical Malay curry puff with potatoes chicken cube curry. Good enough. We thoroughly enjoyed these.

Kaya Butter Toast

Not knowing what my youngest son wanted to eat because it was too early for his appetite to open up, so just ordered this just in case. But in the end, he could not eat, and we packed it home.

Our special refillable iced coffee

The boys and I were attentively listening to the boss on who he is going to meet at Philippines, how God caused us to cross paths, etc.

Time to enter boarding gate. We walked to the departure hall, had our hugs and kisses and byes, and a mandatory family photo! Safe flight and enjoy your days at Philippines. Can't wait to see you soon!

Luck can't be be erased! Cool...
