Hola muy buenas comunidad HIVE, espero que se encuentre muy bien el día de hoy, quiero compartirles mi día que tuve dentro de mi universidad, la cual fue bastante gratificante la experiencia que he tenido el día de hoy espero que disfruten y me acompañen en esta publicación.
Hoy fue el primer encuentro de una competición a la cual estoy participando, que se llama master O.K, y se estarán preguntando, ¿Que es master O.K? les explico master o.k es una competencia patrocinada por una marca llamada prodimarca la cual se especializa en vender productos de arte y ayudar a fomentar el arte en Venezuela buscando artistas de universidades, cursos o academias para motivarlos a participar en este reto, para entrar en contexto y que entiendan un poco de qué va esta movida saben el programa de televisión llamado MasterChef, bueno esta competencia es muy parecida a MasterChef solo que en vez de cocinar, vamos a dibujar, a crear obras de arte basadas en artistas venezolanos muy influyentes en nuestra historia las cuales son Jacobo Borges, Mercedes Pardo y Armando Reverón.
Y bueno este es mi primera participación en una competencia de dibujo ya que no me sentía motivado ni no tenía la iniciativa de compartir o de competir con otros artistas de mi edad, pero este año había decidido mejorar mi confianza y en participar en las oportunidades que me llegaron en la vida y esta fue una de ellas realmente debo admitir que la experiencia fue muy grata obviamente me sentía muy nervioso porque no solamente he estado dibujando sino también me estaban entrevistando a mí y a mis compañeros los cuales también están participando y había un momento que no sabía que debía dibujar, con que debía empezar, cual seria el boceto, cómo sería la composición de colores y otras dudas rondaban por cabeza.
Decidí relajarme un poco y empezar a crear un retrato bajo mi interpretación del rostro de Armando reverón uno de los artistas que escogí para poder participar en este concurso usando técnicas como lápices graduados y acuarelas; yo empecé a dibujar un boceto básico de cómo sería el rostro, siempre veía muchas de las fotos del artista bajo algunos libros o por imágenes que siempre decoraban las paredes de la universidad así que tenía un recuerdo en mi memoria, así que pude crear rápidamente un boceto; generé los detalles de la barba usando las graduados de los lápices el más claro, al más oscuro resaltando partes del rostro como las arrugas de los ojos, los pómulos y darle ese toque de estilo que lo caracterizaba ya que desde mi punto de vista Armando revereron tenía un estilo de dibujo un poco sucio, una palabra coloquial ya que generaba retratos no tan detallados como según los vemos, eran más simples pero se podía entender la caracterización que él daba pero también le daba un uso de las luces porque era un estilo que siempre lo ha destacado así que quería basar un poco en eso, no darle tantos detalles pero sí darle un toque de mi estilo usando líneas de tramado o de sketch o de garabato para así crear un contorno del cabello y de algunas partes para darle cierto volumen.
Para cuando ya llegué a utilizar las acuarelas decidí utilizar tonos cálidos con colores como el amarillo el naranja y el rojo para así reflejar luces así que para el fondo empecé a crear manchas con el amarillo contorneando mucho el dibujo y para oscurecer ciertas zonas con el naranja y el rojo para dar toques finales; como un ingenio de mi parte decidi utilizar estos mismos tonos dentro del rostro del retrato aunque tenía cierto miedo de que la aguada se corriera junto con el grafito y terminara de manchar y arruinar el dibujo pero grata fue mi sorpresa que no sucedió así sino más bien le dio un toque característico que me encantó de un juego de luces utilizando los colores para resaltar un poco más cada detalle que lo caracteriza en el tono de las arrugas y de los pómulos y estoy muy a gusto de resultado que les comparto dentro de la publicación.
A pesar de que esta fue mi primera experiencia me siento muy feliz de poder compartir esto con mis amigos los cuales fueron los que me impulsaron a participar y que de esta manera motivarnos a mejorar como artistas (@picotat @artshisui).
Esta pequeña historia no termina ya que queda mucho por ver y espero que puedan acompañarme y apoyarme en las siguientes publicaciones que estan por venir.

Today was the first match of a competition I am participating in, called master O.K, and you may be wondering, what is master O.K? I explain master o.k is a competition sponsored by a brand called prodimarca which specializes in selling art products and helping to promote art in Venezuela by looking for artists from universities, courses or academies to motivate them to participate in this challenge, to enter into context. and that you understand a little about what this movement is about, you know the television program called MasterChef, well this competition is very similar to MasterChef only that instead of cooking, we are going to draw, to create works of art based on very influential Venezuelan artists in our country. history which are Jacobo Borges, Mercedes Pardo and Armando Reverón.
Well, this is my first participation in a drawing competition since I did not feel motivated nor did I have the initiative to share or compete with other artists my age, but this year I had decided to improve my confidence and participate in the opportunities that came to me in my life and this was one of them, I really must admit that the experience was very pleasant, obviously I felt very nervous because not only have I been drawing but they were also interviewing me and my colleagues who are also participating and there was a moment I didn't know what I should draw, what I should start with, what the sketch would be, what the color composition would be like and other doubts were running through my head.
I decided to relax a little and start creating a portrait based on my interpretation of the face of Armando Reverón, one of the artists I chose to participate in this contest using techniques such as graduated pencils and watercolors; I started to draw a basic sketch of what the face would be like, I always saw many of the artist's photos under some books or through images that always decorated the walls of the university so I had a memory in my memory, so I was able to quickly create a sketch; I generated the details of the beard using the gradations of the pencils from the lightest to the darkest, highlighting parts of the face such as the wrinkles of the eyes, the cheekbones and giving it that touch of style that characterized it since from my point of view Armando revereron He had a somewhat dirty drawing style, a colloquial word since he generated portraits that were not as detailed as we see them, they were simpler but you could understand the characterization that he gave but he also used lights because it was a style that It has always stood out so I wanted to base it a little on that, not give it so many details but give it a touch of my style using hatching or sketch or scribble lines to create an outline of the hair and some parts to give it a certain volume .
By the time I got to using watercolors I decided to use warm tones with colors like yellow, orange and red to reflect lights, so for the background I began to create spots with yellow, outlining the drawing a lot and to darken certain areas with orange. and red to give finishing touches; As an ingenuity on my part, I decided to use these same tones within the face of the portrait although I was somewhat afraid that the wash would run along with the graphite and end up staining and ruining the drawing, but I was pleasantly surprised that it did not happen like that but rather It gave it a characteristic touch that I loved from a play of lights using colors to highlight a little more each detail that characterizes it in the tone of the wrinkles and cheekbones and I am very pleased with the result that I share with you in the publication .
Even though this was my first experience, I feel very happy to be able to share this with my friends who were the ones who encouraged me to participate and in this way motivate us to improve as artists (@picotat @artshisui).
