Traditional design. Interesting to me. Every day we miss traditional things more and more. When I grew up in a strong traditional era.
I didn't know modernity in my childhood and I was happy in my time. In front of my parents and neighbors' house there is a bird cage. That's what I remember most. There are also large trees which have been made into gazebos with roofs made from thatch leaves.
Visiting a family restaurant made me remember the traditional things found in ancient homes. Because it is an interesting concept, I decided to share about this family restaurant with you.
This restaurant is called Ikan Goreng H. Wito (H. WITO'S FRIED FISH). This place is spacious with a semi outdoor concept. I saw large tables for family gatherings.
Made to resemble a family room in the past. That's what I saw. An era where there wasn't much technology that took up time and attention. In the past, which still brings families together in the present. Meanwhile, in modern times, many family members no longer eat at the same time at the dinner table.
Warm colors are applied using wood materials. The brown color is also black for the characteristic highlights.
Moving on to the back area of this restaurant which I like. Reminds me of traditional houses.
First, hanging lamps that use bird cage decoration. Smiling, I remembered that in the past, most houses kept birds with brightly colored bird cages made of wood.
A brilliant idea to bring back the good old days to a family restaurant like this.
Second, there are many huts like those in the rice fields. Reminds us of the hard work of parents in the past in villages in Indonesia who became farmers.
The huts look so warm. When I was little, there weren't any bright lights in the village. Exactly the atmosphere of this restaurant has a warm glow.
The third is about black and white patterned fabrics like those in Bali. Not only tied to trees but also flown like a typical flag.
Fabrics with patterns like chess boards are also flown on the right and left sides of the pathway in the back area of the cafe. Here is suitable as a good shooting area.
There is also something that caught my attention. They make good use of the various areas of the restaurant. On a big tree they made a circle-shaped table. Good idea.
Above the tree, lights were also added with bird cage decorations.
Overall, this family restaurant is very authentic to the past. They seem to want to remind visitors how family togetherness is very important.
By eating at this restaurant, family members will have togetherness and quality time accompanied by delicious local Indonesian food that is close to the taste buds of Indonesian people.
What I can't forget for me is the lamp decorated with bird cages. What do you like about the traditional family restaurant design that I share?

Black and white cloth is always found in typical restaurants like this, even though it is very synonymous with Bali, but why is it always found in typical Javanese restaurants? It's really strange but interesting for us to discuss later!
