I hope you are very well ❤️ I'm looking forward to bring you the review of one of my novels that is in my top 5 favorite fantasy 🙌🏻. I tell you, I'm a big fan of many types of themes or plots when reading, in fact you can also see it when watching a series or movie 🤭 especially if it involves other aspects such as drama or romance, action, wars etc.. 🤭 and just this series of World of Warcraft novels has all this essence 📚. That here goes the following context, the franchise or universe of World of Warcraft is based on a video game, known more by the community as Wow, this video game that has had its evaluation since it came out has its story and sub story, I would even dare to say that a macro story that involves the whole world, meso story and micro stories, but all are connected in some way or another. How well it says is the "World of War" and in this universe we can get everything, so if you were a fan type of lord of the rings, Harry Potter, shadowhunters etc.. this sure you can like, here in this universe you have orcs, elves (all kinds), trolls, humans, demons, magic, science, etc ....
Now to not deviate so much and already focused on the context, this time I want to talk about one of the emblematic characters of this franchise, beloved by the entire community, which in the game is developed all its history and did him justice by taking out a novelización🙌🏻 Arthas Menethil, the fallen prince, knight of the dead and king Examiné, his story is quite moving, and today I want to share an excerpt of what it was for me to read this novel 🤓.
Summary
Our story begins with a boy named Arthas Menethil, with blond hair, blue eyes like the sea, who from his birth the sacred light blessed the kingdom of Lordaeron for the arrival of its prince and future king. Arthas from very young presented kindness, serenity, service and love to his people and his kingdom, had a great affinity with weapons although at first he was not very good, trained for knighthood with the dwarf Muradin Barbabronce and then enlisted as a paladin of the order silver hand, having as mentor and great friend, the legendary Uther the Enlightened, the paladins are warriors adept to the Sacred Light from where they obtain their powers through vows of faith, conduct of righteousness and always protect the weak, Arthas was the youngest paladin to join. Arthas Menethil during his youth witnessed the ravages of the orc wars during the I and II that plagued the eastern kingdoms, where he swore to destroy the orcs and protect his people at all costs. In the last years of paladin, a plague struck the villages of Lordaeron, slowly killing the villagers, but after dying they returned as undead, impatient to check the rumors, King Terenas Menethil sends his son to investigate the ravages of the plague, with his old friend the Dalaran mage Jaina Valiente, of whom Arthas felt a great love, but unknowingly was being directed to his dark and icy future.

I warn you that this story doesn't have a happy ending 😭 yes, I know, it's what kind of characters you want to think again, better, see the mistakes, but unfortunately from the beginning Arthas is a purely proud character, that from beginning to end he never regretted the things he did, if I could theorize that he regretted, it was when he lost Jaina, and we all once felt the pain of the rupture, but here it is different, Arthas went to his descent with the conviction that everyone including Jaina, had failed him, so when he was already turned and did atrocious things, he no longer felt that he had lost something but it was a way to return the wound he felt because of others.
And unfortunately another thing that goes very badly with pride is the overload of responsibility and power, since his birth everyone predicted that he was destined for glory, and that implied the human responsibilities that as a prince he should already have. In addition to the love and patriotism he felt for his people, somehow or other he had no space for himself, nor for his intimate life. On the other hand, not being able to have a quiet life like everyone else and above all not being able to express what he feels for being the second face of the kingdom, which in the end he himself destroyed.
Arthas is one of those characters that pains you to see how they suffer, how they cry and fall apart, but above all how they do atrocities to the roots of being broken, and not to hate them, but to feel more pain and sorrow for them, and the most unfortunate thing is that this character will never have a happy ending. Arthas abandoned the path of light when he felt that it had abandoned her, he felt a stupid trusting her and chose a darker and cruel path, from there he committed several crimes unforgivable anywhere, genocide on a global scale without discrimination of children, mothers, fathers, old or race, killing by his own hand, destruction of entire kingdoms, murder his own father treacherously, mark without rest of death to several people ...etc ….

Espero se encuentren muy bien ❤ ️ yo con ganas de traerles la reseña de unas de mis novelas que está dentro de mi top 5 favoritas de fantasía 🙌🏻. Les comentó, yo soy muy fan de muchos tipos de temas o tramas al momento de leer, de hecho también se puede ver al momento de ver alguna serie o película 🤭 sobre todo si involucra otros aspectos como drama o romance, acción, guerras etc.. 🤭 y justamente esta serie de novelas de World of Warcraft tiene toda esta esencia 📚. Que aquí va el siguiente contexto, la franquicia o universo de World of Warcraft se basa en un vídeo juego, conocido más por la comunidad como Wow, este video juego que ha tenido su evaluación desde que salió tiene su historia y sub historia, incluso me atrevería a decir que una macro historia que involucra a todo el mundo, meso historia y micro historias, pero todas están conectadas de alguna forma u otra. Cómo bien dice es el “Mundo de la Guerra” y en este universo nos podemos conseguir de todo, así si eran fan tipo de señor de los anillos, Harry Potter, cazadores de sombras etc.. esto seguro te puede gustar, aquí en este universo tienes a orcos, elfos (de todo tipo), trolls, humanos, demonios, magia, ciencia, etc…
Ahora para no desviarme tanto y ya centrados en el contexto, en esta ocasión quiero hablarles de uno de los personajes emblemáticos de esta franquicia, muy querido por toda la comunidad, que en el juego está desarrollada toda su historia y le hicieron justicia sacando una novelización🙌🏻 Arthas Menethil, el príncipe caído, caballero de la muerto y rey Examiné, su historia es bastante conmovedora, y hoy les quiero compartir un extracto de lo que fue para mi leer esta novela 🤓.
Resumen
Nuestra historia comienza con un niño llamado Arthas Menethil, con cabello rubio, ojos azules como el mar, quienes desde su nacimiento la luz sagrada bendecía el reino de Lordaeron por la llegada de su príncipe y futuro rey. Arthas desde muy joven presentaba bondad, serenidad, servicio y amor a su pueblo y a su reino, tenía una gran afinidad con las armas aunque al principio no era muy bueno, entreno para caballero con el enano Muradin Barbabronce y luego se alistó como paladín de la orden mano de plata, teniendo como mentor y gran amigo, al legendario Uther el Iluminado, los paladines son unos guerreros adeptos a la Luz Sagrada de dónde obtienen sus poderes mediante votos de fé, conductas de rectitud y proteger siempre al débil, Arthas fue el paladín más joven en unirse. Arthas Menethil durante su juventud presenció los estragos de la guerras orcas durante la I y II que azotaron los reinos del Este, dónde juró destruir a los orcos y proteger a su pueblo a toda costa. En los últimos años de paladín, una plaga azotó los pueblos de Lordaeron, matando lentamente a los aldeanos, pero luego de morir regresaban como muertos vivientes, impaciente por comprobar los rumores, el Rey Terenas Menethil envía a su hijo a investigar los estragos de la plaga, con su antigua amiga la maga de Dalaran Jaina Valiente, de quien Arthas sentía un gran amor, pero sin saberlo estaba siendo dirigido a su oscuro y helado futuro.
Comentarios
Les aviso que está historia no tiene final feliz 😭 si, lo sé, es qué tipo de personajes uno desea que recapacite, mejores, vea los errores, pero lamentablemente desde el inicio Arthas es un personaje netamente orgulloso, que desde inicio a fin nunca se arrepintió de las cosas que hizo, si acaso yo podría teorizar que él se arrepintiera, fue cuando perdió a Jaina, y todos una vez hemos sentido ese dolor de la ruptura, pero aquí es distinto, Arthas se fue a su descenso con la convicción de que todo mundo incluyendo Jaina, le habían fallado, así cuando ya estaba convertido e hizo cosas atroces, ya no sentía que había perdido algo sino que era una forma de devolver la herida que él sentía por culpa de los demás.
Y es que lamentablemente otra cosa que va muy mal con el orgullo, es la sobrecarga de responsabilidad y de poder, desde su nacimiento todo mundo predijo que él estaba destinado para la gloria, y eso implicaba las responsabilidades humanas que como príncipe debía ya tener. Además del amor y patriotismo que sentía hacia su gente, de alguna u otra forma no tenía espacio para sí mismo, ni para su vida íntima. Por otro lado de no poder tener una vida tranquila como todos los demás y sobre todo no poder expresar lo que siente por ser la segunda cara del reino, que al final él mismo destruyó.
Arthas es de esos personajes que te duelen ver como sufren, como lloran y se desmoronan, pero sobre todo como hacen a raíces de estar rotos atrocidades, y no odiarlos, sino sentir más dolor y pena por ellos, y lo más lamentable es que este personaje nunca tendrá un final felíz. Arthas abandonó el camino de la luz cuando sintió que está la había abandonado, se sintió un estúpido confiando en ella y escogío un camino más oscuro y cruel, a partir de allí cometió varios crímenes imperdonable en cualquier sitio, genocidios a escalas mundiales sin discriminación de niños, niñas, madres, padres, viejos o raza, matanzas de su propia mano, destrucción de reinos enteros, asesino a su propio padre a traición, marco sin el descanso de la muerte a varias personas..etc…
Y bueno mis queridos lectores, está fue mi reseña de esta novela 📚 nuevamente les digo, si son fan de las cosas frikis estoy seguro que les gustará ❤️. Muchas gracias haberme leído 🙌🏻 estaré atento a tus comentarios 💪🏻 hasta mañana ✨

La verdad no tenía ni idea que ese juego tenía una novela, o por lo menos uno de sus personajes la tenía. Creo que me llamaría la atención, considerando que me gustan los libros de Harry Potter y como mencionas, capaz pueda ser de mi agrado.
Siempre cuando leemos una historia, nos vemos reflejados con uno de los personajes y saber que no tiene un final feliz es devastador, pero sin duda y como tu mismo comentas, hizo muchas cosas atroces que en justa medida no merecían un final feliz.
Me gustó leer tu reseña, muy entretenida.

Books that does not have happy ending do make me feel sad. Anyways, I will still try to search of this book so that I can read it through.

Realmente la historia del WoW me parece increíble, cosa que puede llegar a pasar un tanto desapercibida por ser un juego, pero libros como éste demuestran todo el potencial que tienen
