Ingredients;

  • Half cup of semolina
  • A cup of coconut milk
  • Three pods of cardamom
  • A pinch of salt powder
  • A cup of water
  • A tablespoon of butter
  • Half cup of sugar
  • 100ml of oil

The method of making;

First you need to fry semolina on low flame for two to three minutes.

If you feel a dry powder when you touch it, then the enough.

Now add coconut milk and pinch of salt and saute on low flame.

When it was cooked on low flame for about four to five minutes, it became thick. Then add a tablespoon of butter, stir and remove from the heat.

Now let the mixture cool down a little and knead well for about four to five minutes.

In the meantime, let's make the sugar syrup. Put a suitable vessel on the stove and add half a cup of sugar to it and add a cup of water to it.

Add 3 crushed cardamom pods and bring to a boil over medium heat until the sugar dissolves well. This is enough if you take it for about three minutes.

Now we need to thin the semolina flour mixture. For this, sprinkle some flour on a suitable tray. Then thin it to 1/2 cm thickness.

I am going to cut round shapes from the semolina mixture that I thined. You can use any shape you like.

Now put a pan on the stove and add oil and let the oil heat on low flame. It is difficult to take the prepared round shapes by hand and add the oil, because they break. Therefore, using a suitable spoon, add red oil and fry on low flame until golden.

Once fried, add round shaped semolina to the previously prepared sugar syrup.

You can keep it in sugar syrup for about 5 minutes and taste it.
