We are in mango season and there are so many delicacies that we can prepare with this rich fruit that I could not decide which one to choose, so I wanted to bring you a delicious dessert which is very delicious and very soft on the palate in a real delicacy is a Mango Mousse with coconut milk and agar agar.
I am going to talk a little bit about agar agar is a thickener that gives us a gelatinous and creamy texture and comes from an edible seaweed is very nutritious and gives us calcium, magnesium and fiber among others, is wonderful for our desserts.
This recipe is a very healthy and ideal option to prepare for the kids now that they are on vacation at home.

Estamos en temporada de mango y hay tantas delicias que podemos preparar con esta rica fruta que no encontraba por cual decidirme, así que quise traerles un rico postre el cual es muy delicioso y muy suave al paladar en un verdadero manjar es un Mousse de Mango con leche de coco y agar agar.
Les voy hablar un poco del agar agar es un espesante que nos brinda una textura gelatinosa y cremosa y proviene de un alga marina comestible es muy nutritiva y nos aporta calcio, magnesio y fibra entre otros, es maravillosos para realizar nuestros postres.
Esta receta es una opción muy saludable e ideal para prepararle a los niños ahorita que estan de vacaciones en casa.
Así que te invito una vez más que me acompañes a la cocina para su elaboración.
The ingredients to be used are as follows.
Los ingredientes a utilizar son los siguientes.
Ingredients.
- One large mango (I used a sleeve).
- 1 cup of coconut milk.
- 1/3 cup of sugar.
- 3/4 cup of water.
- 2 teaspoons of Agar Agar.
Ingredientes.
- Un mango grande( yo utilice una manga).
- 1 Taza de leche de coco.
- 1/3 de taza de azúcar.
- 3/4 de raza de agua.
- 2 Cditas de Agar Agar.
Elaboration.
- The first thing we do is to activate the Agar Agar.

- Lo primer que hacemos es activar el Agar Agar.

- Place the water in a pot at normal temperature and add the agar agar.
- We mix and let it rest for five minutes then we take it to the kitchen and we put it to low fire we mix well and when it begins to bubble we add the sugar we mix to dissolve and let it boil two minutes then we retire of the fire and we reserve.
- Colocamos en una olla el agua a temperatura normal le agregamos el agar agar.
- Mezclamos y dejamos reposar por cinco minutos luego llevamos a la cocina y lo ponemos a fuego bajo mezclamos bien y cuando empiece a burbujear le agregamos el azúcar mezclamos para disolver y dejamos hervir dos minutos luego retiramos del fuego y reservamos.
- Now cut the mango into strips and then into squares.
- Ahora cortamos el mango en tiras luego en cuadritos
- Pour the diced mango into the blender and add the coconut milk.
- Vertemos el mango en cuadritos en la licuadora le agregamos la leche de coco.
- Proceed to liquefy at high speed.
- Procedemos a licuar a velocidad alta.
- Then add the agar agar and blend for one minute.
- Luego le agregamos el agar agar y licuamos por un minuto.
- We proceed to serve in our molds and take to the refrigerator for four hours.
- Procedemos a servir en nuestros moldes y llevamos a la nevera por cuatro horas.
Then our mousse is ready to decorate with a delicious syrup that I made with the mango and chopped mango and it is ready to enjoy.

You have inspired me to use my agar, which sits waiting in my cupboard. This is my kind of dessert on a hot day and right now I can get mangoes for less than 3 dollars each. That is a very good price here in Canada.
