The corpse disposal part of this game is really scarry that you guys already witnessed in the prologue but did you think that I'd need to carry a corpse on my shoulder sometime to dispose it? And that's the corpse of the President of United Cities of America though she has another identity which is, she's the mother of Sam.
After I reached Bridget, she asked others to leave the mother and son alone and she was saying that she knew Sam would come back. I'm really confused that how come Sam didn't know his mother was the president.
She was saying that someone named Amelie went went west to rebuild the country which took her three years. Bridget was asking Sam to help Amelie and was saying that they can rebuild the country together but Sam was not into these things as he believes there's not a country anymore worth saving.
Bridget went mad and was asking Sam to lister to her and she fell from the bed trying to get to Sam and it looked like Sam was scared of her because of the way she was behaving.
She crawled towards Sam and touched his bracelet and understood that he's willing to help and found the portrait of Sam, herself and another woman and then she fell on the ground saying she loves him.
Both Deadman and Die-Hardman came running and carried Bridget to the bed and they started treating her and was trying to cure her.
No matter how hard they tried, she died. It was a heartbreaking moment for all those peoples around her when the doctor was announcing time of death.
When all this was happening, Sam was still siting in that corner and was looking at the photo of them. He looked sad for his mom getting passed away but he was not ready to express his sadness.
Die-Hardman was telling Deadman that what happened in this room shouldn't go out as Bridges is finished if the word of the presidents death gets out.
They got to Sam to ask him to take the body to the incinerator and cremate it before it necrotizes otherwise this place will turn into another crater. The road from the Capital Knot City to incinerator was compromised in the voidout and now the only way there is on foot, through the mountains.
Sam agreed to do the job as there was no other porters there at the moment and the CD team was also eliminated before. He met them at the door and they came prepared with the body.
Sam carried the body on his back and got out of the Bridges and the door got closed before his eyes. Her cremation must be carried out with the utmost secrecy and that's why there was no peoples with them.
I was out in the open carrying a whole dead body and I didn't know what I was going to go through in my journey to the incinerator through the mountain. I hope those ghosts won't chase me when I take this path.

What a dramatic moment to see when the old woman died, from that moment I felt that the game changed completely, it has moments that inspire many emotions.
I guess you're not wrong about this. Sam also changed with the death of that woman.
