After that climactic scene, leaving Chainscrape, and defeating the Tenakth rebels, finding Sylens is the first step to fixing the land. As his trails would lead me to finding GAIA's backup. However, the entrenching mystery of the whole ordeal keeps revealing itself.
Oh, and more to see the western side of the once great, but now fallen civilization managed by both machines and men. Yes, California is dead, long live the natural order. Well, some variation of it. And it was a brutal trek around there, even when I was trying to explore other areas, this game kept blocking me out of it.
Finding the path towards my objective was tricky, yet I've managed to find Sylens and his favorite rogue A.I., HADES. There's going to be a night mode too, no worries, plenty of amazing photos where that came from. I also wish FSR wasn't this fuzzy.

Made it past the nests of many, and I thought maybe finding a tallneck would help. Unfortunately, just like this and the one afterwards, I didn't have the means to do so.
Frustrated with the main mission pathway, I took a detour doing missions for helping a guy ambush this convoy for goods. It pretty much worked, patience and timing later, everything came to me eventually. Fighting them one on one was a death sentence.
I like exploring underwater, well at least till I quickly run out of oxygen. What is this, her first day out in the ocean beds? I got stuck once and had to fast travel out.
So I fought some Leaplashers, Scroungers, and probably a Stormbird on the way too. Afterwards, making across the other side of the shores, finally reached Sylen's resting place. Where he left a number of clues for Aloy to follow.
When Sylens gets down to business, he gets direct and assertive about it. That ball of world ending disaster getting interrogated is an interesting to see from a Hologram. But question still remain, where to still find GAIA?
Took the bird out first, the other 3 hounds with a stealthy approach. I forgot that's how I played the first game, because head to head combat in this scenario is a death wish.
After all that, the sun went down. Just in the distance is a Charger's nest, my last one couldn't cross the waters. So taking a rest with the merchant, as well as sharing some long winded tales before I be on my way out. Too bad I didn't bring enough Shards to buy his wares.
At last, I've reached the gates. Also, good to see HADES looking in tip-top shape, as in pieces of him scattered away and lefting him frail. Also ah, Sylens it seems was waiting for me too.
More is unveiled as Aloy explores deeper into another Far Zenith facility. More about Elizabet, her clone mother, and the Odyssey project. Seems all is well and good, till after finding GAIA that we've realized we got more work to do. And also that, we're not alone in seeking for GAIA's backup replacement, it seems.
Well, I guess Far Zenith had human operators as well. Including machines far advanced, and beyond formidable for Aloy to tackle. Guess she'll have to get back at them real soon.
I am very happy to see that you have shared with us some amazing screenshots, the part where you can see the moonlighting is very splendid, this game looks incredible, the landscapes are extremely amazing.
