Hi drone Hiveans!

Back to Cornwall for this this post.

I triple checked the weather the night before to go to the Minack Theatre for sunrise.
The sky was clear, there was little to no wind and the bite of a winter chill was in the air. Waves were gently lapping at the beach as a local swimmer decided to have a dip, whilst down at the cliffs, the waves were crashing against the rocks.

I took off from a slightly different location to last time, the coastal path to the east rather than the west and ventured out for some more variety in shots compared to last time as I was a little cautious due to wind.

Located near the southern most part of the UK (Lizard Point), I felt like I was one of the first in the UK to see the sun on that day. In reality it actually depends on many other factors but hey ho.

Every aspect of this place is photogenic- the rock formations, the beaches, the theatre on a cliff edge, the waves. No wonder the theatre is so popular, whether a show is on or not!

Editing wise, I tried the comparison shot above when I was back home. In hindsight, I should have thought about taking photos in exactly the same place as some angles don't match up perfectly but you can get an idea.

There are also three small coves next door that are jam packed in summer.

Excellent work, I've been going to Cornwall ever year for the past 12 years, up until the last couple of years, seeing these shots have made me miss the place even more, so I think a visit will be coming up in the next year or two lol. I do love the shots, especially the last one of Porth Curno beach, one of the best beaches in Cornwall and brings back wonderful memories.
