My late grandfather was the person I looked up to since I was a child. I am proud to say that He was the best grandfather every granchild would want, good person,his a retired police colonel when he was still alive here in cebu. I was with him since I was 6 months old. He imparted me with his wisdom to be the guy who I am today. So today I'm gonna share how I celebrated his birthday to honor his memory and legacy even in simple ways.

Together with @kyyyys we arrived at our designated location by communicating a bus. We bought candles and food for lunch because we haven't eaten yet. But in order to reach the top we have to walk by foot.
We're not even at the top yet but the trees on the side of the road really amazed my eyes.
Hundred step stair
To reach the top, we have to go through a hundred step stair. We didn't feel tired because it wasn't too hot and we could feel the gentle breeze.
Finally! Here we are.
After passing through the hundred steps we are finally here. The gentle wind that caresses our skin turned to cold air. The serene beauty has captivated my eyes.
The scenic view at the shrine
Imagine a beautiful sight where fluffy clouds float above lush green grass, creating a mesmerizing blend of nature's beauty. Different flowers sways gracefully by the breeze, All I can hear is the chirping of birds and the hush of the wind, All I can smell is the candle that emits a warm and comforting aroma. I did a research about this place and found out that this place was first called "Medal of the Immaculate Concepcion.

After taking a stroll, we paused to pray for my grandfather's well-being in heaven. Then, noticing some colorful leaves nearby, we decided to have our lunch under the tree.
After our meal, we snapped some photos of ourselves to cherish this wonderful day. We relaxed there for a few hours before deciding to visit another church, San Vicente Ferrer.

We took a motor cab on our way to the second destination. It's just a few kilometers away.
Here we are! Infront of the San Vicente Ferrer church. Sadly it was close but we did some strolling around the church and found that the Sanctum Sanctorum was open. A holy place where the holy things were displayed.

After visiting sanctum Sanctorum we decided to eat, to fill our tummies so we went to our favorite food restaurant, McDonald's. We just walked to save the paying fee for motorcabs and it's just nearby.

Because Valentines day is approaching they have a discount on their mcdo app so we ordered 4 PCs mc spicy chicken wings for 149 pesos which originally cost 240 pesos and medium French fries with large coke float for 115 pesos only. We just bought rice outside because it's only 10 pesos. We are so happy because of the discount so we eat to our hearts content.
It's already 5 so we need to digest the food we ate so we went to plaza to relax. Plaza is where you can find countless people doing the sports they love, kids playing on the playground, and students who practiced for their presentations in school.
Instead of digesting the food that we ate, we literally bought another food to gnaw, mango hehe. We just stay there until 6pm and then we decided to go home. That's all for today guys thanks for reading hope you like it. Have a blessed Thursday see you!
