Como he comentado en otros post, soy oriunda de un pueblito de la costa del Estado Vargas (ahora La Guaira); para mí siempre será Vargas. Llamado La Sabana, cada vez que puedo lo visito, ya que vivo en Caracas; especialmente en las vacaciones, sobre todo las más largas.

En consecuencia no podía dejar pasar las vacaciones de diciembre, la navidad es una fiesta que me gusta pasar allá, porque es una época de compartir con familiares y amigos, por tal razón recibimos muchas visitas. En varias oportunidades una amiga hiver @miriannalis siempre me había comentado que quería conocer mi pueblo. Con ella siempre comparto en las clases de biodanza, porque es mi profesora, estamos en contacto por lo menos dos veces al mes. Consequently I could not miss the vacations in December, Christmas is a holiday that I like to spend there, because it is a time to share with family and friends, for that reason we receive many visits. On several occasions a friend hiver @miriannalis had always told me that she wanted to visit my town. I always share with her in the biodanza classes, because she is my teacher, we are in contact at least twice a month. We have created a nice friendship, we have learned and grown together in her biodancer tribe. I owe this to #hive. Thank you #hive. 😉🙏😘
En consecuencia, me escribió el pasado 05 de enero que iba para La Sabana, que ya estaba en camino, noticia que me alegro mucho porque por fin ella podía cumplir su sueño de conocer mi pueblo y yo de mostrarle mi casa, las playas, el pueblo y conocer a mi familia.

Llegaron el viernes en la tarde, fueron a la playa y luego me visitaron, les hice un recorrido por la casa, les presenté a mis hermanos y luego nos tomamos unas cervecitas bien frías, café y galletas para los niños. Nos sentamos un rato en el patio entre risas y conversaciones, quedamos en vernos el día sábado, que las llevaría para un lugar emblemático llamado La Boca.
They arrived on Friday afternoon, went to the beach and then visited me, I gave them a tour of the house, introduced them to my brothers and sisters and then we had a few cold beers, coffee and cookies for the kids. We sat on the patio for a while, laughing and talking, we agreed to meet on Saturday, I would take them to an emblematic place called La Boca.
Como habíamos acordado, el sábado en la mañana pasaron buscándome en mi casa, nos fuimos a la playa EL Puerto, dejamos estacionado el carro y luego nos fuimos caminando para La Boca. Se llama así porque es un lago donde desembocan los ríos del pueblo. Según mis ancestros es una laguna encantada porque siempre cambia de forma, se hablaba de presencia de encantos, entidades que se llevaban a los niños, ellos también creían que era foco de enfermedades si uno se bañaba sin que estuviera reventada.
As we had agreed, on Saturday morning they picked me up at my house, we went to El Puerto beach, parked the car and then walked to La Boca. It is so called because it is a lake where the rivers of the town flow into. According to my ancestors it is an enchanted lake because it always changes its shape, there was talk of the presence of enchantments, entities that took the children, they also believed that it was a source of disease if you bathed in it without it being burst.
¿La boca está reventada? es lo primero que uno pregunta cuando alguien hace mención al lugar, eso significa que le entra agua del mar, están situadas una enfrente de la otra, y según nuestros ancestros y las creencias populares del pueblo hay que bañarse justo cerca o en la orilla donde confluyen estas dos aguas.

Pasamos un rato muy agradable, amaneció lloviendo pero luego el sol, en su máxima expresión de generosidad salió a brillar con todo su esplendor, para que tuviésemos un día de playa excepcional, en el lugar mantuvimos una agradable y nutrida conversación de las bondades de #hive, de espiritualidad, conectadas con el mar y sus bondades, la tierra, la naturaleza, reflexiones de vida y finalmente de las historias y creencias de mi pueblo. Luego de unas horas en La Boca, subimos al pueblo, regresamos a mi casa, comieron, compartimos con mi familia y se regresaron a Caracas muy contentas por los dos días compartidos. Por mi parte muy feliz y agradecida por la visita, por la compañía, por la conversación, por el aprendizaje. Gracias #hive porque gracias a esta plataforma fue que las conocí.
