Hola amigos, espero que estén muy bien. Finalizando la semana que para mí fue bastante larga y agotadora. Siempre agradecida de poder estar activa en mi día a día, pero a veces es cansona.

La semana pasada estuve viendo imágenes en la web con mi nieta y entre tantas cositas que vimos estaban unos aretes de frutas que a ella le gustaron mucho. Entonces hoy me acordé de unos y se los recreé con tela. Ya les muestro el proceso que seguí para elaborarlos.

Last week I was looking at images on the web with my granddaughter and among so many little things we saw were some fruit earrings that she really liked. So today I remembered some of them and I recreated them with fabric. I'll show you the process I followed to make them.

LOS MATERIALES:

🍉 Hilo acrílico de 1mm color negro.

🍉 Anzuelos pescador para aretes.

MATERIALS:

🍉 Felt fabric colors white, green and red.
🍉 Acrylic thread of 1mm black color.
🍉 Sewing thread colors white, red and green.
🍉 Wadding or cotton for stuffing.
🍉 Sewing needle.
🍉 Scissors.
🍉 Hoops of costume jewelry wires.
🍉 Fish hooks for earrings.

EL PROCESO:

Elaborar accesorios pequeños con este tipo de tela es un poquito difícil ya que el filtro tiende a abrirse en las orillas o rasgarse, sin embargo haciendo el trabajo con sumo cuidado puedo decirles que las piezas de estos aretes de sandía quedaron muy bien elaboradas.

🍉 Primeramente se toman los RETAZOS de fieltros y con la ayuda de algún objeto redondo o con la regla de círculos marcamos tres de diferentes tamaños: yo marqué uno de 1cmm, uno de 1,5cm y otro de 2cm. En los colores que puedes ver en la imagen.

THE PROCESS:

Making small accessories with this type of fabric is a little bit difficult since the filter tends to open at the edges or tear, however doing the work with great care I can tell you that the pieces of these watermelon earrings were very well elaborated.

First take the felt pieces and with the help of a round object or with the circle ruler mark three of different sizes: I marked one of 1 cm, one of 1.5 cm and one of 2 cm. In the colors you can see in the image.

Para ello ensartamos la aguja y comenzamos a ordenar pequeñas puntadas en forma de círculo dentro del retazo de tela. Al finalizar pasamos el hilo para atrás del fieltro y escondemos esa pequeña hebra que sobra después de cortar ✂️

🍉 Tomamos el hilo de coser color rojo y lo preparamos en la aguja, hacemos un nudo en uno de los extremos para usarlo de una sola hebra. Con este hilo vamos a unir el fieltro rojo sobre el blanco haciendo puntadas solo por las orillas del rojo agarrando el blanco. También puedes usar pegamento si gustas.

With this thread we are going to join the red felt over the white one making stitches only along the edges of the red one holding the white one. You can also use glue if you like.

Al finalizar no cortamos el hilo, lo dejamos en suspenso mientras preparamos los materiales de bisutería.

At the end we do not cut the thread, we leave it in suspense while we prepare the costume jewelry materials.

🍉 Tomamos una argolla de bisutería y el anzuelo pescador. Pasamos el anzuelo por la argolla y la cerramos muy bien. Acercamos la argolla hasta donde está el hilo y la aguja en la sandía y con ese hilo ajustamos la argolla para convertir estas lindas patillas en bonitos zarcillos para niñas. Luego de asegurar bien la argolla, rematamos y cortamos el hilo. Repetiremos todo el proceso para hacer el otro zarcillo y tener el par.

Aunque en la prehistoria los accesorios tenían un significado más bien de protección ☺️ en la actualidad estos podrían representar o decirnos cuan a la moda estamos o quizá a que nivel social pertenecemos. Lo que si les aseguro es que quienes en esta época no anden coquetos no será por falta de ideas creativas, podemos hacer accesorios de lo que queramos. En lo particular a mi me gusta mucho la variedad y lo llamativo, pero también adoro lo sencillo y simple.
