Hellooo, helloaaaa! Next Sunday, May 12, we celebrate Mother's Day in Venezuela. It is a very emotional date and is celebrated in most homes. There are many options we have to give as gifts to our mother, sisters, friends who have had the blessing of bringing a new life into the world. In large families it is sometimes expensive to bring each one a detail to express the feeling that overwhelms us, however, any detail is well received on this special day. Today, I share with you a very simple and easy idea to do so that you don't run out of that present to congratulate them.
We will make a linked bracelet of pearls and wire that look very pretty, because by joining both pieces we will form the infinity symbol. Something very representative and special for this date. If you have any other beads you can replace the pearls, but the truth is that with these they look very pretty. So without further ado let's start with this step by step.
BIENVENIDOS A MI BLOG
¡Holaaaa, holaaaaa! El próximo domingo, 12 de mayo, celebramos en Venezuela el Día de las Madres. Es una fecha muy emotiva y en la mayoría de los hogares se celebra. Son muchas las opciones que tenemos para obsequiar a nuestra madre, hermanas, amigas que han tenido la bendición de traer al mundo una nueva vida. En familias numerosas a veces es costoso llevar a cada una un detalle para expresar el sentimiento que nos embarga, sin embargo, cualquier detalle es bien recibido en este día tan especial. Hoy, les comparto una idea muy sencilla y fácil de hacer para que no te quedes sin ese presente para felicitarlas.
Haremos una pulsera enlazada de perlas y alambre que quedan muy lindas, porque al unir ambas piezas formaremos el símbolo de infinito. Algo bien representativo y especial para esta fecha. Si tienes algún otro abalorio puedes sustituir las perlas, pero la verdad es que con éstas quedan muy lindas. Así que sin más comencemos con este paso a paso.
MATERIALS
- Gold wire #26
- 2 mm pearls (turquoise, pink, silver and red)
- 4 mm pellets
- Safe parrot beak
- 5 mm hoops
- Measuring tape
- Jewelry tweezers
MATERIALES
- Alambre dorado #26
- Perlas 2 mm (turquesa, rosada, plata y roja)
- Balines de 4 mm
- Seguro pico de loro
- Aros de 5 mm
- Cinta métrica
- Pinzas de bisutería
STEP BY STEP // PASO A PASO
- To make the bracelet we are going to cut two 25 cm strands of #26 wire.
- We take one of the wires and insert 60 2 mm turquoise pearls.
- We center the pearls on the wire.
- Para realizar la pulsera vamos a cortar dos hebras de alambre #26 de 25 cm.
- Tomamos uno de los alambre e introducimos 60 perlas de 2 mm color turquesa.
- Centramos las perlas en el alambre.
- We join both ends and make a twist of 3 turns.
- We introduce the 4 mm pellet and finish twisting the rest of the wire.
- Unimos ambos extremos y realizamos un entorche de 3 vueltas.
- Introducimos el balín de 4 mm y terminamos de entorchar el resto del alambre.
- We take the secure parrot beak and pass the twisted wire and with the conical clamp we make a ring of approximately 3 mm and close with a two-twist rosary knot.
- We cut the remaining wire with the pliers.
- Tomamos el seguro pico de loro y pasamos el alambre entorchado y con la pinza cónica realizamos un aro de 3 mm aproximadamente y cerramos con nudo de rosario de dos giros.
- Cortamos el alambre restante con la pinza.
- Y ya hemos formado la primera parte de la pulsera.
- To carry out the second part we are going to repeat the previous steps.
- We take the other wire and fill it with 60 pink pearls.
- We center the wire and twist it.
- Para realizar la segunda parte vamos a repetir los pasos anteriores.
- Tomamos el otro alambre y llenamos con 60 perlas rosadas.
- Centramos en el alambre y entorchamos.
- We introduce a 4 mm ball, then a 5 mm ring.
- With the conical clamp we make a 3 mm ring and close with the rosary knot.
- Introducimos un balin de 4 mm, seguidamente un aro de 5 mm.
- Con la pinza cónica realizamos un aro de 3 mm y cerramos con el nudo de rosario.
Now with the two pieces formed, we are going to link them to form a kind of infinity.
We pass the turquoise piece inside the pink one and then the pink one through the turquoise. We speak both pieces in the opposite direction until they join them and form the symbol.
Ahora con las dos piezas formadas, vamos a enlazarlas para formar una especie de infinito.
Pasamos la pieza turquesa por dentro de la rosada y luego la rosada por la turquesa. Hablamos ambas piezas en dirección contraria hasta unirlas y formar el símbolo.
And so we now have our linked bracelet forming infinity. Special to give to our beloved mothers and strengthen ties and although on this occasion I will not be able to celebrate with my mother, I will keep her bracelet here for when we see each other soon. I wish all the mothers who are part of Jewelry a happy day, that they are very cuddled by their children and that those who have their mothers close also hug them and enjoy them while they can.
